Two characters I dont like. I am bored with Brook"s panties requests and his jokes are predictable. On the other hand Mrs Goldenweek is a lame character. Dont know who to vote for….

His jokes in the second arc he participated the Shabaody, were ALL predictable, panties, skull jokes and Bink"s sake thats all he has to offer. His background story was good but his character is still lame.

Its called a running gag. And Brooke has only been in the SH's for a super short amout of time. Thriller Bark was full of Bink's sake. Thanks to toei.

I actually agree with him, Brook's dead jokes were getting tiresome really fast. And he hasn't done anything praiseworthy so far.

On the other hand we got Goldenweek, and artist, an embodiment of the medium that brings us One Piece.

But seriously, I have no idea why the humor of Brooke is so disliked. As someone said before me, it is a running gag, one of the most difficult forms of comedy to execute in a fashion that everytime tickles someone's funny bone (heheh). Personally, I think running gags are quite rewarding when done right, and Oda does well with it.
In any case, this is not the only humor he exhibits, yet people often forget this. He is the most polite and gentlemanly ill-mannered character I know.
I suppose he has only been around for too short of a time to really impress most people, but I am confident his time will shine.
More on the subject of voting, poor Goldenweek… I found her to be quite an interesting character, and she even starred in a cover arc. I hope she atleast gets a decent amount of support votes.

I have nothing against Brook, but I've inspired myself to vote for Goldenweek today. Miss Goldenweek is a lazy little girl with no df power who made it into the top 11 assassins (mr 5/miss valentine and up, both male and female), of which she is the only one without a fruit power. She outranks two females that actually have fruit powers. That is amazingly badass.
The other reason I'm voting for Miss Goldenweek is because her existence in the story alone has made me want the Strawhats to employ an artist on their crew. I don't want her to join the crew, just an artist in general.

Nope, he didn't. He was just strong. And if we go by what Crocodile said about the ranks of Mr. 3 and Mr. 4 then Goldenweek only outranks Mr. 4 because of Galdino's skill.

Ivotas summed that up for me, I find it pretty odd and unfounded that you say someone has to fight with art or music to be considered an artist or musician.
I'm pretty sure being an artist or musician has nothing to do with fighting.
And definitions for artist are widely varied, but art being your profession is not a requirement to be an artist.
You have a point with Franky, since he only brings out his guitar for a gag I don't consider him a musician. But somebody could argue that point if they wanted.
Usopp is a glorious artist though, and he deserves respect.
Miss Goldenweek deserves respect too, but not quite as much as Brook in my book.

I view artists and musicians in One Piece as those who can take art and music beyond the normal boundaries that exist in the real world, because Oda has set that precedent for us.
