looking forward to this, never really got into the whole detective luffy stuff or whatever it is. haven't even watched the last two episodes.
i guess i just like luffy and htem in their own world and not this fake feudal japan stuff
-
Damn, looks like the usual streaming isn't working anymore..
-
Same here. Back to keyhole for now.
-
Toshio Deguchi?
Also, is it gonna be today?
I thought it was tomorrow -
Yehoo ! - I've been waiting for this thread to open, tonight's will be a good episode !
Also, Freshverse's One Piece Streams are usually a week behind, but they might be working this time, I'll check it out just to make sure …
-
I was really getting used to the better stream. Hopefully it'll be working next week or we'll have to start using Keyhole again.
-
Hope this turns out better than the manga version did. :ninja:
-
Darn it! Just when I start using the live stream for episode viewing, it stops working today.
Not a prob, though. I'll have to wait a bit, but somebody'll upload it onto YouTube. As always =3
-
did the episode start yet?
-
This is my first time using KeyHole and boy, it really is shit at most times :getlost:

Welcome to how the world used to be.
-
Hmm, it seems Internet Exloper Users can no long use Freshverse …
-
Ah, the stream's conked out. Looks like I'll have to wait to hear Marguerite's voice. Hopefully she'll be in the preview.
-
Lol at Luffy running into the wall !
-
What a goofy episode title… It's like reverse Little Rascals...
-
Here come the Mushrooms …
We ALL know what's coming next ! -
Yes, the break. .
-
You know what? New guy's okay.
-
Looks that way. Bit too hard to tell with Keyhole though.
-
-
sighs just as well, Keyhole crapped out on me
-
I like Sweetpea and Alephandra's voices. Margaret's not so much…
EDIT: oh god...this is just terrible...
-
Sweetpea's goin' for it !
-
Personally, I don't mind the editing so much. xD
-
Just one chapter this week.
-
Oh God!!! xD
The Golden Balls!!
-
-
Looks like next week is Golden Balls' time to shine…pretty literally, haha.
-
Ha! Luffy's fruity clothes made me burst out laughing when I saw them in color. Whoever decided to put the image of butt naked Luffy for the preview on Fuji's site earns a gold star. Can't tell for sure who's doing the art next week, but I'm going to make a guess and say Takagi.
Dammit, Narrator, I wanted to hear some of the new voices, not your prattle! Rage.
-
Any news on the casting yet? The wait is making me even more curious.
-
Margaret - Masumi Asano
Sweetpea - Kujira
Alephandra - Akemi Okamura
Belladonna - Tomoko Naka
Kikyou - Yuriko Yamaguchi
Nyon - Ako Mayama -
Heh, Sweetpea is Orochimaru..no wonder it was so familiar.
And looks like Nami found a new job as Aphelandra.edit: and Robin as Kikyou.
-
Kujira as Sweetpea…sounds about right.
Can't say I've heard any of the others, except for Okamura, of course. I wonder what cameos the other Straw Hat seiyuus will have throughout the rest of the saga.
-
Much appreciated Geg.
-
Ako Mayama was Cocoro too.
-
Just noticed it, and Doublefinger (!!) too..
-
this episode was golden itself. Felt short though
-
Sweetpea really tried to pull off that "mushroom"…and they were about to burn it off, too! winces at the thought Also, LOL at Luffy getting burnt to a crisp earlier.
Margaret (Masumi Asano, most notable character is possibly Hakufu Sonsaku of Ikki Tousen and Risa Harada of D.N.Angel)sounds cute, and Sweetpea (played by Kujira of Orochimaru fame, lol) sounds pretty like I imagined her to be, and I was surprised to hear Nami's VA (Akemi Okamura) play Alephandra. However, I didn't recognize Kikyou's voice, so when I looked it up it was Robin's VA (Yuriko Yamaguchi)! She really deepened and roughened up her voice just to sound different, so I was surprised.
Seriously, they really emphasized that "pulling" scene, they even extended it as to the point where EVERYONE was going to try. They changed the bathing scene so Margaret wasn't topless, though...which is understandable, but a small let down...sigh.
Also, didn't really expect a preview of the next episode to end with a view of Luffy's butt-cheek.

finally saw this epsiode man its funny as heck, its pretty short but then again thats how it was for the chapter.
wow so finally its on Fanservice island yay, can't wait to see the other strawhats whereabouts finally animated.
also laughed when luffy was remebering the strawhats and it was a sad music and then it changed to the bar music when luffy was eating mushrooms.
also can't wait for Boa's voice actress she is going to sound very sexyfull yum.
also another yummy thing was at the end when Robin was promoting cards she looked so sexyfull in that too.
damn it am i sounding like a pervert Nooooo i can't act like that in front of the ladies.

Just saw the ep and I gotta say that it was pretty damn good. The vid I saw had crappy quality, but from what I saw and heard, this episode was pretty solid and still pretty bold (dear god, so…much...tugging!). XD I will say that from what I heard, I do like the voices for the Kuja tribe. They all seem pretty well-suited. Next episode looks promising too. Those clothes on Luffy are hilarious! XDD
-
I wonder if casting Akemi Okamura as Aphelandra is an in-joke on her playing Rise Koizumi in Lovely Complex?
-
Sigh, what's up with the raw-providers these days? It's been over 12 hours since the episode aired, yet I can't seem to find a single raw of it…
EDIT: Finally... http://www.nyaatorrents.org/?page=torrentinfo&tid=73484
-
Thanks! I missed it live. Two weeks break and I forget the next episode. What the heck? Must be the summertime…
-
Watched just enough to hear the new voices. Pretty good. Sweetpea's made me laugh, and Marguerite sounded pretty close to how I imagined, so that's good.
I laughed at the ADD part where Luffy's all solem, remembering his crew, and then he notices the mushrooms and the music goes from sober to comical in a second. The whiplash was perfect.
-
Man that snake running before the break was awsome ^^

Thanks to the late raws, I didn't get to see the episode until just now. My thoughs…
*They're still using the Straw Hat Crew clip in the opening... If you ask me, that doesn't really fit now that they've been scattered.
*And then, they used Sanji and Chopper's eyecatchers, even though neither of them are in the episode except for the recap... Really, now that Luffy is gonna be on his own for a while, I'd say they should either stick to only using Luffy's eyecatcher, or just remove the eyecatchers alltogether, and just have the One Piece-logo appear in the corner of the screen to indicate the cut to commercials, like I believe they did in the last two episodes. (Or, it wasn't the One Piece-logo in those cases, but you get the point.)
*The whole scene with the Kuja tribe attempting to get rid of that last "mushroom" was rather hilarious. And I'd say the reaction-shots at the end could be considered an Overly Long Gag, seeing how I think they must have had at least 20 close-ups in there… It was dragged out to the point where it was just plain comical.
EDIT: I counted the reaction-shots... There were 19 of them. So my estimate was pretty close.

Isn't that good?:wassat:

If you're referring to the Overly Long Gag, then I wasn't complaining. As the TV-tropes page I linked to says, the entire point of those is that, after being dragged out to the point of being boring, they still continue, and the sheer length of the joke becomes a joke in itself.

This is all the fanservice you need for today. xD
