Marco is really boring, REALLY boring. And I get the feeling that even if we get to know him better, he'll still be boring.
I'm not crazy about Auger, but he's probably my favorite Blackbeard pirate. I find it funny how he literally shot seagulls and absolved himself of any responsibility because of "fate." He seems like an interesting guy, but this is still a pretty boring match…

I just don't really care for the Whitebeard Armada at this point. On the other hand, you can imagine the Blackbeard crew enjoying their life in the most rambunctious way possible.

I'm not sure exactly why I like Marco so much. It truly baffles me but I do. It's a puzzle for another day though, because I voted Van Auger. Sorry Marco, maybe next time.

wow I actually really like Van Auger O__O I guess I'm drawn to characters who like to kill things… xD; I find him interesting but then again I do enjoy the entire BB crew unlike most people O__O

Van Auger is a crazy good sniper who believes in fate. Plus I like his design. This makes him my favorite Blackbeard Pirate for some reason, although it should be noted I'm not a big fan of the Blackbeard Pirates.
I'm not sure why I like Marco, I just do.
Technically though, if they both got zero it would be a tie and _both_of them would be going to the next round.

Marco has done NOTHING so far. NOTHING. Van Auger meanwhile, is the most interesting BB pirate, having shot a pigeon from an ISLAND AWAY… and he also shot Ace through the head and heart immediatley on sight and in a fraction of a second.
Really, both of them are lucky in this matchup... they're scrubs that have done nothing yet and managed to get through last round due to lackluster competion. Either of them would be hard pressed against a good opponent, but of the two... Auger all the way

A no votes tie is different. Since this is a popularity contest it would mean nobody wants either character to advance into the next round.

The truth is that both characters done nothng so far, Van auger shot a bird and Marco warned the other WB pirates about Shanks' presence so I am voting for Van auger because he isnt Ace's brother.

You should edit the poll to have a "Neither Advance" option this match so you could have your way. I'd vote for it.

I don't like WB pirates neither I do like BB pirates, so it would be the best if none of them advanced, imo :getlost:
But because it won't happen, I'll go with Van Augur, at least he did something and has cooler design. There's not even a slightest badassery air about Marco, he's just dull, when Van Augur is a noteworthy sniper (possible opponent for Usopp who might greatly improve after that fight) with unmatched eyesight and aim. -
Voted for one of the four snipers in the entire series. Jeez, compared to swordsmen, snipers really get screwed over.
I can only think of Usopp, Yasopp, Auger and Chess off the top of my head.

Going with Van Auger.
Marco didn't show us anything really. The only thing we know is that he was a commander for Whitebeard.
Van Auger, on the other hand, has had some more screen time and will get more as well. -
I hate Van Augu's character, design and personality. I mean who doesn't even react to deadly poison to the face, that isn't badass that is stupid. Therefore even though marco is a relative unknown he must be better by default.
