This was rather good filler in my opinion. Way better than the Warship Island filler, anyway. Flute Bink's Sake, hearing Perona's voice randomly crack when she yells, Oz as a float, that ending… so good.

Well, they never show full bewbs/nipples, and in a scene like that it would be reeeeally hard not to show any of that. It was no problem to avoid that in the manga, but wouldn't be possible in the anime (unless they made annoying bubbles or mist or anything to cover the good parts).

toei isn't really big on censoring considering they animated a naked bulma in the past so i doubt much will be edited in amazon lily.

It's not like they change the entire story line. I mean, they have to fit 1 manga :: 1 episode, so you have to have a lot of fillers for that. The storyline typically stays the same though.

Wow! So instead of discussing the episode we're theorizing and complaining about how much nudity or lack thereof is going to be in the upcoming arc.
A few things,
I do believe even going as far as Toei's Dragonball Bulma's nudity was a least trimmed. For example, during the Fortuneteller Baba arc in the original manga (and Viz's original edition) Bulma's breasts are clearly visible. But in the anime version you really have to pause the DVD for the split-second her breasts appear on screen. As far as Toei's animation history goes they have not been as bold as, say, the people animated Ranma 1/2 or Gainax. They do increase the fanservice factor though (think about how these days, dependeing on the animatior, Nami needs a freakin' jiggle-counter).

As far as the animation goes, yeah, I had to go back and look at my review of Shamanuki's art style. But I think for the whole Edo-era special they cut back on the animation in general. Didn't stop the episode from being enjoyable though.
