Network account wiped on WinXP?

Last night I reset my computer and tried to log into my account today. I got some error message and so reset it again - but instead of getting my normal desktop populated, I got what looks to be an old mirror I made several years ago. None of my programs or documents since before I got that are appearing there.

However, the C-drive still says I have everything, since I'm at 410 mb free space out of 8.8 gb, which was what I had yesterday. So idk, is anyone an expert on Windows and could help me out?

Go to C:\Documents and Settings. You should see the names of all accounts that have logged into the computer. See if your one is there. If it is, your desktop stuff should be under c:\Documents and Settings\youraccountnamehere\Desktop

Amazing, my thanks. I've found most of all the files. What I still need though are my torrents records, but those aren't in the uTorrent file and I don't see them in the uTorrent queue when I log them in. Where are those stored?

Should be in C:\Documents and Settings\youraccountnamehere\Application Data\uTorrent\

Application Data will be a hidden folder, so if you can't see it, you need to ensure they're visible by going into tools->folder options->view and then select "show hidden files or folders" in any explorer window.
