There are tags for youtube videos. between the "" and the "" (without the " of course) you put the value behind the watch?v= of the http link. But if you have a video on your hard drive you must upload it first to youtube to apply the described procedure.

i've tried that about 4 or 5 times now… the first time i thought it had worked but it was just a blank white square.

Try it again here and if it fails i will quote you and look at what you did wrong. Between the youtube tags you have to only have the value behind the ?v=. A space char or a carriage return char can screw it up.

Delete the marked part. You only need the special code of the video.
Now use the YouTube tag. Copy that code and put it between the brackets.
You're set to go.
