:getlost: I was thinking of lassou and Funk Freed, the only two objects only to have "consumed" a devil fruit. What devil fruit would you place into an object? Use any object and any devil fruit (any type), this could also be kind of a what if?
What objects would you place a devil fruit into?
-
-
Have you forgotten the OTHER gun-dog that Franky met, last we saw him?
-
hes a cyborg though.
-
The human fruit should get eaten by a pair of guns.
What? Every other shounen has it…
-
I wonder what would happen if Kabuto ate some kind of Logia fruit?
-
I'd place a Moku Moku no Mi into a hookah.
-
I would get a car to eat a bird fruit, so I get a car that fly…
I wonder what happens if a ship eats a fruit... would the ship be unable to swim?
-
Hmmm… let a katana eat a supa supa no mi ... XD
-
A Clone Clone Fruit on a hundred dollar bill.
-
A clone clone fruit only allows the object or person to take the shape of another object or person… so let a large object eat a clone clone fruit and turn it into gold or diamond then trade it in for money....
-
Hmmm… let a katana eat a supa supa no mi ... XD
Do you want an enlightened sword or some shit?
-
Do you want an enlightened sword or some shit?
Lol… hell yeah...a blade that is enlightened... wouldnt that be amazing?... I could see it glowing.... LOL
-
lets see, spring spring fruit into a pair of shoes. But I suppose that would be redundant.
hmmm… the paw paw fruit into a cane, because that would be sweet.
The chop chop fruit into my car. Not only would it be able to fly with the tires on the ground (traffic jams would be a cinch), but it could disassemble itself so I could fix it.
-
I would feed my mp3 player or my laptop, the Battery battery no mi so I would never need to charge it again -3- …lol wut? :'D jkjk
The chop-chop fruit in a car sounds sweet 030
-
hmmm… a zoan fruit. Maybe a bear bear fruit into my computer to growl at me when i've been on it for too long.
-
Assuming that a user could have two DF powers, I'd put both the Sand Sand Fruit and the Rumble Rumble Fruit inside a giant tank.
With the Sand Sand being for dodging attacks and the Rumble Rumble for shooting giant ass lazer looking lighting attacks _
-
Pika Pika no Mi into any type of handle. A laser gun and lightsaber in one. \o/
If it has to be a zoan fruit (which is what the two other DF objects are in OP), then one of the Hebi Hebi no Mi models into a bullwhip. Rattlesnake would be cool, since that fruit hasn't been used yet. It'd crack and rattle at the same time + be poisonous.
-
Any model of Tori Tori no Mi into my shirt so it could grow wings and I'd be able to fly  . Would non-Zoan type fruits even work with inanimate objects? I mean the Zoans can give an inanimate object awareness, but if it eats a Paramecia or Logia, it wouldn't really do anything because it doesn't have the conciousness to use it .
-
I would feed a neko neko no mi, model house cat to a bus… so I can get this:
it would be so cute and it could take me anywhere…
-
Putting a size size fruit in my… winkwinknudgenudge
-

Well if it's a part of your body it doesn't count as an object since you'd have to eat the fruit…

What ho! Filthy thoughts!
I was talking about my red dog!
-
A BAZOOKA!I dunno. Although, the thought of seeing an animal-hat thing on someones head is quite funny. :D Maybe a Bird based friut in a backpack or shoes or something so I could fly? -
What? nobody got my Joke?
The Big Red Dog!
Nevermind, I'm going in the corner to sulk. -
It was a shitty joke.
-
This DOG?…......................:ninja:
-
We know what he meant. That's a part of why it was so shitty.
-
sob I knew it was crap.
-
How about the mane mane no mi in a manga. Then I could have it be any manga I wanted as long as it touched that manga.
-
Wouldn't it be able to become any piece of paper, assuming it even works that way? Considering we've only seen Zoan objects, there's no telling how compatible Logias and Paramecias are with inanimate objects.

I've already said what I think is the problem with non Zoan fruits before. A Zoan fruit gives the user a conciousness even if it's inanimate. If you give it a Paramecia or a Logia, it wouldn't be able to use it because it's inanimate and those require conciousness to use. So if you feed an inanimate object a Paramecia or Logia nothing whatsoever would happen and you would've wasted a fruit. Of course I could be totally wrong, but I think Oda's thought of this, thus why we've only seen inanimate objects that have eaten Zoans.

Logia maybe, but Luffy's rubber all the time, whether he wants to be or not. So if you fed the gomu gomu no mi to like, my fedora, I would have a rubber fedora.
-
Hm, I guess you're right. Robin's Paramecia wouldn't, though. So I guess it'll never work with Logias, it depends on the fruit for Paramecias, and it always works with Zoans. And fedora's are awesome, I want one  .

It might work with Logias. And by might, I mean that if you fed Ace's fruit to, let's use a chair this time, then said chair would probably just catch on fire and burn. :ninja:
Fedora's are …mine.:ninja:
-
Maybe soon Oda will reveal an inanimate object with a non Zoan fruit.
-
That'd be cool. And solve this problem.
-
Hmmm… maybe its possible that the object can only manifest the DF properties.
Ex. Gun ate the Suke Suke no mi.... the gun will remain invisible... and whoever touches it becomes invisible as well...the only time it losses its effect is when a person that has contact with it let go of the gun... XD
-
Capone Bege's fruit (it was one, right?) in a hat. More precisely: a trilby.

But with the Mane Mane no mi the ability is activated by touching a certain spot. So couldn't I just touch that spot and the item would work that way.
I'm not disagreeing with you, I'm just giving an example of how it doesn't always need a consciousness to work.
-
But with the Mane Mane no Mi you have to conciously change into it. Sure, you could make it touch something and it'd be added to the memory, but without a conciousness it wouldn't do any good since it wouldn't be able to transform.
-
If an object has a Devil Fruit, I'm sure the responsability of how it's to be used is transferred to whoever is holding it.
-

How about this?…. it changes to whatever makes contact with it.
Ex. A knife ate the Mane Mane no mi, that knife fell to the ground. The knife will take the shape of the ground. If by chance someone stepped on it (barefoot) it will change again, assuming the shape of the person who stepped on it... ^^
-
That sounds crazy scary, like if Oda were to write a horror manga. He has so much fun with silly powers like that.
-
I don't think it works like that though :ermm: . The person has to consciously use the fruit. Like Bentham has to touch his face with his hand. And the person has to conciously choose which form to take. Just touching the object to something might add that thing to it's memory of forms but it wouldn't be able to do more that that.
-

O.O uhmm the object your trying to put it into has no consciousness…. so I think it wouldn't work to what you imagine it to do....:ermm:

O.O scary? Like Hell… he did zombies..... monsters.... and even a living skeleton.... they are much more scarier than that
-
I don't think the effect of the Devil Fruit changes depending on if it's put in a living being or an inanimate object.
-

The issue is not on the DF but on the thing that eats it…Yes I think the effect of the DF will not change but its gonna be affected.
Ex. Man + Mane Mane , since man is conscious, he can use it powers to the fullest. hence the memory thing.
Knife + Mane Mane , since that thing has no consciousness, it can only assume the power of the DF, which is to copy. No memory. No consiousness. The power of the DF is affected by this.

Aw heck no. That was Oda playing around with cliche horror themes in a comedy-themed story. I say a randomly shape-shifting object is scary because it is unpredictable. That's why I would expect Oda to impliment story elements of such value in horror if he ever decided to write it.
