See now this is the part I disagree with, even though he was constantly thinking negative things about his son… he at least was trying to help him. Hector was just too stupid to see it.

He got him a job opportunity no one else would give him, complains about other people not getting the job.
Why on earth are you telling a girl about a top secret experiment? His dad was in every right to stop him.

I'm sorry but the fact the Hector was even mad at him made me rage a bit.

It was probably just a matter of tough love I guess. Hector didn't realize what he had and his father was acting so pushy about it that it just rubbed off on him the wrong way.

I just saw this and I thought it was awesome. I haven't read the comics so I don't know the original storyline, two people I went with did though and were disappointed with the changes. Without knowing the original storyline, I think it was awesome and better than Thor.

I don't care about the Green Latern, or anything pertaining to his mythology whatsoever and I only heard of him through the Jon Stewart version of him from the Justice League cartoon so I have no interest in seeing this movie whatsoever(especially with all those reviews) but pity fans of the Green Latern who sat through a mediocre film, and as Warner Bors are struggling to find a franchise to replace their precious Potter they have announced this.

Deadpool is in the making too. That movie's probably going to be even worse than GL though, because it's being directed by a VFX specialist whose never made a movie before.

The script was written by the guys who wrote Zombieland though.

And give the guy a chance, the guy who directed Captain America (a VERY good movie) happened to be the old sfx guy for Spielberg.

I've seen the movie, and i really liked it, besides Ryan Reynolds did a very good job with playing Green Lantern. The movie really beats Captain America and Thor bigtime.
