I believe magellan should go down just for what he did to all the prisoners. Just because he defeated inazuma and Ivan… It wouldn't make sense to me if luffy just run away from a weakened Magellan. Luffy already said he wants to block Magellan. If he doesn't take down Magellan the chief guard will always block them from escaping. That's it.
I assume you mean using venom road to pursue the ship? Don't forget that croc would be there, I'm sure he could use his logia power to stop Magellan from following them(Desert Spada or somesuch).

So you expect that luffy just injure magellan enough so that they can use the time to catch up jimbei and the others? Cause the main problem i see right now is how luffy and co will go out of ID.

Yep. Luffy should be able to hurt Magellan, it's probably been a long time since Magellan has had to fight someone who is at full strength, and can hurt him without being poisoned.

Well at least sentomarou aokiji kizaru and Magellan the pacifistas showed him he seriously needs to improve if he doesn't want him and his crew to die in the new world.

Yeah i think they reached their limit right now. The enemies won't be weaker in the new world. Something new something fresh needs to happen. The old fighting style is outdated for the new enemies to come. They have to improve! I just want to believe luffy will be forced to create new techniques before leaving ID. The problem is that at the MHQ he will be outclassed and won't be able to do much.
Magellan is luffys chance to improve I believe… If not then i will wait to see how luffy plans to save Ace. -
How did Jinbei "grip" the water? Ok, cool Kungfu - Karate moves work with movement power…. but literally griping water and throwing it like a cannonball? Jinbei is a GOD of the ocean.

As much as i would love to see Jimbei as SH… After this chapter I really doubt it even more now.
He is way to strong and has his own crew...
But can't wait for next week to see what Jimbei is planning... Turned he evil or is it to stop Croc to betray them.

Yeah it is indeed God-Mode and now we can see what level Ace was. But didn't anyone think that he swims faster than a Mermaid. It was said that Mermaids are the fastest swimmer… But now I don't believe that.

Regardless, how come in the translations certain parts are different? From the page where Crocodile and Daz speak to the marines about being cocky versus what Jinbei says at the end about’, “Opps that’s the ship we were going to use”

I still think its two pages. Go back to the spoilers and look at the first 8 images provided. You see how Daz bones is kind of cut off and you can’t see the raft behind him? I’m pretty sure it could be 2 pages but I may be horribly wrong. -

hehe Magellan is obviously far from finished…he only looked a little surprised at luffys blow and the cannons will do nothing. If Luffy must take this guy out, I want it to be incredibly difficult...Magellan has shown himself to be incredibly powerful

Yes, this display of what Fishman Karate can really do was pretty cool. Yarinami looked pretty cool. Jimbei seems pretty overpowered in the water. Love how he was all ''My bad.'' at the end.
And even if Buggy is still the comic relief character, he's come a long way from the bumbling freakshow he was in the story's beginning to be able to surf on a door and pose next to Crocodile and Mr. 1, and not look one bit out of place.
Candle Champion Luffy's pretty wacky and cool. I look forward to seeing more of it in action.
Yeah, awesome chapter, can't wait until it's animated, and my desire for a Fishman Karate Fishman to join the Straw Hats (who isn't Jimbei) is just as strong as ever.
