Look at it. Croc is a logia and Jimbei seems bad-ass as hell. But why they didn't stop Magellan. Even BB seems to het owned. What do you think?
In my opinion.
Magellan liquid posion is maybe like water and blood to Croc which would make him easier to fight.
Jimbei was limited on land. But I think he could take him on but dunno he didn't try.
BB was owned cuz he didn't try to fight him.
Jimbei in ocean has pretty high possibility of defeating magellan and croc with open area also has an advantage, in a small close area like impel down Magellan has a huge advantage and the reason they didnt directly faced magellan is their objective is going to Marine Hq and fighting Magellan will cause some casualities.
Croc doesnt want to get hurt fighting magellan he has business with WB and Jinbei he is trying to save Ace and shown in this chapter he was needed outside Impel down.
Why try when they are in a rush? He'd be a tough fight for either regardless if they think they can beat him. Its not his overall power but the fact that one-mistake and they're both done for that makes him dangerous. There is no 2nd chances against Magellan like most fights provide.
Wouldnt this be pretty fitting for the shichibukai strength thread?
