@onemoment:
So he can beat Luffy because the WG gave him all the same advantages that he lost with last time? What.
Broad.
Daylight.
Different day, different circumstances, different luck, different assesment of your opponent's skills. Luffy, Zoro, Robin and Sanji were all half disolved from daylight death and lack of sShadows. If Moria had held out 2 seconds longer, they'd be dead. Nevermind that Luffy was completley UNCONSCIOUS and horrendously injured after the fight.
And why would they set up Moria with all this cool crap when they'd better spent it on their admirals. I'd love to see Akainu with a zombie army.
Because hes's one of the 7 frikin warlords, they want those guys at their top level in this fight. Can Aikanu MAKE a zombie armie? Can he take the shadows of 1000 fodder soldiers, or even 50 fodder soldiers, to power himself up? Moria did the 1000 shadow thing cause he was pissed. Against a stronger opponent he respects (like Whitebeard) he might limit himself to an ammount he can control, but still be made far stronger.
Because he didn't set his mind to it last time. Also, I hate you for bringing this up outside of that thread, which sucks cause he seemed like a cool guy beforehand.
Luffy didn't set his mind to use Gear 2 on Croc last time they fought either. Oh yeah, he grew and changed and came up with new ideas since then after being beaten by Aokiji and CP9. Darn shame Croc can't possibly do the same thing after being defeated and annoyed by an upstart rookie, or against an opponent he takes more seriously.
Crocadile has destroyed entire cities by proxy by starting a sandstorm and sending it along its way, without him even remotely suseptable to danger or anywhere near the site. Its within his power to do. He could do it here. His logia powers give him that ability, not JUST the ability to not be blunt hit.
The rest, I don't even know what made you bring it up. Like I said, any idiot can tell that Luffy isn't going to be fighting every shichibukai here, let alone more then two. There's slim chances for even one to happen, all I said was it could happen.
Tell that to the people speculating that Luffy will use a BS haki powerup to take out an admiral or those saying that hey, he beat Croc and Moria once, so it's EASY for him to do so again and that both of them are clearly beneath Luffy's calibur now, despite the fact there were a variety of differing circumstances around every one of those battles.
Anyway, there's a shichi discussion thread for this nonsense, I don't feel like debating it… AGAIN.
I'm just making a point that Luffy's out of his league, and these powerful guys have more than just fisticuffs going for them.
This isn't DBZ where after being beaten once you're leagues above your opponent for them to never be a challenge again.
@Clouddrive:
Are you saying that the king's disposition can only make people faint?
Never once said that. Rayleigh was able to hit Kizaru. That is fact. But beyond that, I'm not speculating about what haki can or can't do, or what control Luffy has over it until we actually see it on the page. Its totally fanmade bullshit speculation beyond that, and its when I stop paying attention to any argument, however valid it might have been prior.
Are you saying that Oda would just throw Luffy(the main character) in a situation where there are a 100% chance that he will get rape for sure.
Seems to be what he has done. Yes. Did the same thing to him on Shabondy, and Impel Down, as I recall.
