Uhg, I loathe the Cell Games. Goku toying with cell,

He didn't toy with Cell. He gave it his all. Blew him in half. It wasn't enough.

then the senzu bean, then gohan fighting even if he didn't want to, then ssj2,

All part of the same whole. Goku believes in a fair fight with both opponents giving their all, and was fully confident Gohan had it in him to win. And it WAS a tournament fight. It wasn't till Cell started killing people that it switched.

Goku "oh, let me allow you to live Picolo/Vegeta/GinyuForce/Frieza" saying that he should finish off cell.

He was a robot that was going to blow up the world no matter what. Could not be convinced to change.

He treated Buu much the same way… but still wished for him to be reincarnated.

I still hate the new dub voices.

All the dub voices are bad. Especially the older ones.

I'll grant you most of the rest (but this "If you were created you don't get sympathy from me" Goku, I find it weird after the Android 8 and other stuff). But I say it once and say it again, original latin american dragon ball dub is one of the best dubs of All Times.

The first DBZ dub was okay if you really liked Beast Wars, I guess.

Then the full out Funi "lets use random people we find off the street in Austin" cast was just… bad. They had opportunity to fix things but... didn't. And then when Kai came around years later they... added more voice actors but didn't do all that much to fix the main characters.

Overall I'm glad that the abridged cast has entirely replaced the dub cast in my head. Every last one of them is better.

I know this is sarcasm, but Bruce Faulconer is EXTREMELY overrated by nostalgia googled loons. His music is terrible and schizophrenic just like 4kid's ballbreaking music. It didn't help that he played some of the same tracks over and over and over and over and over and over AND OVER! You can only hear 10 seconds of vegeta's theme, 20 times in the span of 3 episodes for so long before you start clawing the dry wall.

I never watched any other English dub, so it was that much more easier for me to see the abridged cast as most natural one. It's funny how a passionate amateur work can overshadow professional business when it's not something that depends on the size of the budget alone.

Vegeta's theme was the only memorable good track he had out of dozens… and yeah, even that got horrendously overplayed pretty fast.

Man I forgot how bad Goku's speech about 'being the light in the darkness' was in the dub, TFS really does a good job at shaming the original. To give credit where credit is due the dub of Kai has noticeably much better directing than Z, I can watch it and not cringe at every line.

Funny what happens when you sit on a product for a dozen years, constantly readapt it for the video games, and actually stick closer to the original script.

Every time I try to rewatch the dub I just end up wishing I was watching DBZA. It's weird how that's my cannon. I hope every single person on this show finds success because of it. They all deserve it. I mean, they're getting me to enjoy the Cell arc. Cell has always been my least favorite arc of DBZ, but I'm enjoying this so much and Cell actually has a personality. It's crazy.

I still have major problems with the dub as a whole, and flat out can't watch a dubbed Dragonball product that was produced pre-Kai, but I have to say, MAYBE it's because I'm used to the original dub being so horrendous, but I actually kinda like the Kai and Battle of Gods dub.

They both still have major problems of course. Some of the horrible voices got recast like Bulma, and Freeza and Gohan, but some of them stayed with the same actor like Kaio, and Boo.

And seriously, I know we got it that ONE time in Kai during the "I am" speech, but why is FUNimation apparently completely against ever EVER saying "Son Goku"?… I mean, I saw the BoG dub in theaters, and that part where he's being SUPER formal, which is way out of his normal speaking comfort zone? They wouldn't even let him say "Son Goku" there... and that moment actually kinda called for it...

Also, I... admit that the TFS Cast has supplanted the FUNi cast in my head now... Whenever I think of these characters in English... it's those voices I hear in my head lol.

To be honest, he knew that they were 17 and 18. Just saiyan, if he knew about number 8, he should have assumed at least 9 other androids, potentialy stronger than goku.

It wasn't working earlier but now it is. I still don't like the player though. They should just keep uploading their videos to Youtube (which surprisingly is better), but they usually wait a little bit before doing that.

They never showed up in his timeline. They could be presumed to be failures, or so weak as to be insignificant.

And 19 and 20 are well, later numbers.

Also they take out 3 of them in one of the movies.

Loving these Cell episodes. This guy is seriously my favourite TFS thing they ever did. Guy's a psychotic maniac that loves to kill and play around doing it. I couldn't think of a way for them to make him interesting, but seeing this - I just can't wait to see Mr Satan and Perfect Cell, TFS just can't do no wrong it seems.

I LOVE what they're doing with Cell. Absolutely L.O.V.E. it! He's a complete nutcase who will troll you before he kills you.

Highlights that weren't Cell for me are:
-Vegeta. Just Vegeta. He's always hysterical.
-Goku's Dream. Oh my god, I couldn't breathe!
-Krillin's comments about killing Proto-Cell.
