I dunno, i've never watch/read a single Initial D Series. only saw the avid gamers over at the arcade playing it like they own thewhole machine. I seriously think the movie wouldn't be that interesting.

Hmm.. the thing that makes me like Initial D so much, is the Eurobeat in the background. With it being removed for the Live Action…and replaced with Chinese Rap. Well.. uhh.. yeah.
Hmm.. They screwed up Night Kids and Emperor… Lan Evos are with Emperor and Sudo drives a Evo III. They didn't mention anything about Ryosuke and his FC.

Sorry to upset you.. But The Movie is Initial D however its not have anything to do with Anime or Game.. other than Characters and basic plot like.. How Takumi Drives a Car.. WHOA!

The Movie is out today for sneak previews and theres already some Torrents up.. however none are subbed in English.. So I won't be watching it until then..

I was at the Lido Theatre (Singapore) last Saturday for its premiere (I was there to watch Batman Begins). The theatre is so full of people. There's an Initial D trailer before Batman and a lot of girls were shrieking everytime Jay Chou and one other guy show up on screen, LOL.
So, to anyone who have watched it, is it good?

lolx, if you thought that was crazy. imagine an whole school of people(mine of course) filled up a theathre at prince theather(singapore too) that was during the star wars eps 3. There was a Mr and Mrs Smith trailer. Imagine when angelina jolie, everyone went wooo~, wolf whistles, crazy maniac. The stuff. Not only that…imagine brad pitt...and a half a theater starts screaming -_-"

Interesting, some parts I laughed and some parts I was saying "WTF??!!" Like the whole Bunta issue seriously pissed me off..

Really, I don't get the hype about this movie. From what I know, my friend love it because:
1 - To watch drifting
2 - Cos it's a japanese manga
3 - Cos Jay Chou is in it
4 - To look at the cars…

Hmm.. God it sounds like Initial D : the movie 2 or something will come out with Takumi joining up with Ryosukes Team.. but who will the 2nd ace be if there isn't a Keisuke character in the 1st movie.
