'cept for Jinbei ^_^
-
This post is deleted!
-
you have no idea how hard i want to make a comment about jimbei's strength
it's like you're dangling a lure in front of me man
-
Who, me? Or did you mean Onemoment? Just to clarify, I was referring to the fact that Jinbei is a Fishman and can likely swim well and breathe underwater, not that he is strong or anything.
-
You, yes, and I know. I was making a joking reference to the Shichibukai thread and your prior post.
It's pretty unthinkable for Crocodile to team up with Luffy in the first place, and even Iva is confident that Crocodile will try to stab them in the back. I presume that Iva is on top on things though, given the circumstances.
Personally, if I get to see a Luffy x Crocodile combo attack, I can die a happy man.
-
If I get to see Crocodile pull some beautifully evil fuckin' double cross, it is I who shall die the happy man. I'm silently begging for an "OH SNAP! CROCODILE JUST FUCKED THEY'S SHIT UP" moment…

I hear ya. Maybe if we're lucky we'll get both so I can die hard enough that I am killed to LIFE, come back, and can fully appreciate the shitstorm Croc has just caused.
-
If you really didn't care, you wouldn't reply with a comeback. Now quit trying to one-up each other and get things back on topic. I will now pick from a list of topics I diced up with paper on my desk*:
"It seems obvious that allowing Croc into the gang is going to bite them in the ass eventually. Does anyone think this will directly effect Luffy, possibly staging a fourth (and completely unnecessary) battle? Or do you guys think it is more likely he will be Iva-san's problem? His involvement in all of this is strange, as I cannot imagine him playing a larger role anymore."
He's there to get OHKOd by whomever this arc's boss is to show that they're really that tough
-
Doubt it. Oda doesn't seem to be the type to pull the "jobber" routine like Akira Toriyama did. I mean, if he'll go and give another vile villain a "happily ever after" ending, he's not gonna shit on this one.
-
^^ your word in odas ear…but we could trust oda so let`s wait what will happen
-

You've reminded me of this thread. Kind of ironic that the opposite ended up happening.

I fail to see why that should matter, the point he made speaks for itself.

I think I made a post like this before. Either it was deleted or I forgot when I posted it.
Well anyway, about Croc getting his ass kicked….he's on Luffy's team now. For the good guys--or rather another on the protagonists side--things always get darker before the dawn, and no one is immune. Croc, Iva, and Inazuma are all vulnerable at this point, especially considering how powerful their enemies are.
Of course, Croc could get past that by leaving the group after they get out of prison--that's very possible. Betraying the group is also possible, but which team will Croc fight on after that? The WG and shichibukai have no reason to ally themselves with him even if Croc hands them Luffy's head--he's still a level 6 prisoner. The idea of a betrayal is interesting, but at this point I see no one for Croc to turn to (or a path of escape) if he abandons the alliance he made this chapter. At least not yet anyway.
-
^^ The answer is: you deleted it.

i think crocodile will go into marineford looking to get into a fight with whitebeard but will instead be assaulted by powerful marines once he shows his face. wonder if smoker would want to take down crocodile since he didn't get to do it in alabasta. i still believe blackbeard is the one who will take down whitebeard. that or whitebeard will die in some huge final attack.
-
I doubt Crocodile will be part of the group long enough to be involved in the main conflict (referring to the Impel Down "boss fights"). I could be wrong, but I see his role being a bit more complicated. He may go solo in his own mission to kill Whitebeard.
Plus, how awesome would it be to have him throw the good guys to the wolves, then show up again a few chapters later on a small ID personnel ship, or something, filled with shriveled bodies, on his way to Marineford. I know I'd probably have a stroke…
-
Don't chapters leak early sometimes on Golden Week?
yea sometimes. I do believe that this issue of WJ magazine has already been published before Golden Week (since GW is a holiday, they should have took the advantage to publish it early and have a good ol break during GW), ko-neta already posted "the bottom 6" of the TOC. Who knows we might get spoilers as early as Saturday. XP

Or maybe Croc's replacement won't take kindly to the idea of a has-been trying to steal his thunder?
-
I want to say due to Luffy's meddling, it'll actually lead to Whitebeard losing.
Just once, I'd like Luffy's antics to lead to destruction and chaos. He just gets too lucky too often~
-
Two Revolutionaries, two schichibukai, and a supernova. Seems like a force to be reckoned with.

is oda Ill or soemthing? its like a break then a chapter… break then chapter... >.>

Oda had taken a break to "collect data" before, and this week's break is for Golden Week.

tell me about it, i tried to just goof on youtube and not show up here ..so much for that:getlost:
-
Well, if you guys are that desperate for OP, spoilers have been out since friday :3.
-
Hey guys, since spoilers are out, how long do you think it'll be till a new chapter comes out?
-

ahh golden week… but how come naruto and BLEACH are released but One Piece isnt? isnt golden week a national Japanese thing for them?

I don't know about Bleach, but I'm certain that Naruto wasn't released this week. SJ doesn't come out during Golden Week, even though we have seen some early spoilers. So no SJ = no OP/Naruto/Bleach etc. Are you sure it's not spoilers you've seen?
-
How come Golden Week results in no Shonen Jump for 2 weeks?
-
How come Golden Week results in no Shonen Jump for 2 weeks?
its only been 1 week
and nothings been released
Oda took a break himself before golden week
then last week we had a chapter
this week no chapter (just early spoilers which are for next weeks chapter)
Next week chapter -
so they're going to go up through the levels and head for marine hq? how though?, are they taking a ship, or riding on jimbei's back? wouldn't it be funny if buggy's crew somehow ended up there again and they took his ship
also, is ivankov just helping luffy get out of prison? or will he join them to marine hq? love to see ivankov and megallen battle :3 wishful thinking on my part i guess
i think they're going to run into mr 3 and buggy on the way up, or crocodile might free mr 1 maybe,
hmmm . _ . he wouldn't mind having an ally methinksoh and the last page was awesomely brilliant. loved it
cant wait till the next chapter ^^
-
So the chapters should be online by May 8?
-
Possibly earlier than that I find the current quality of pictures are ok to make a translated version but some parts are bit blurry and well we will get scaned version considering this is DC version I guess people are waiting for scaned chapter
-
Hey guys,
i thought about this a lot, and it really is buggin me.
You all know the part, when Ivankov says to Luffy that he knows a secret about Croc that he wants not to be revealed and kind of blackmails him with that. But i dont think that this secret is his weakness which is liquid in any form. Cause he is so pissed when Ivankov says that. But Luffy knows his secret too so what exactly could this secret be?I assume its some kind of embarassing thing. I thought about Croc being a woman before and came to Ivankov and asked for turning her into a man.
-But thats not really something which Ivankov could use against him
Or maybe his appearance was weak and small, and Ivankov altered his muscles and gave him more male hormones or something after Croc begged him or paid him som money? What do you guys think it is?
-
I dont know wy it changed to secret but It was his weakness not something about secret and Iva told croc cant be trusted yet he can use his weakness to supress or make him not betray them.
and when did the obvious prediction become true in One piece
I still remember the time when Japan and Korea fan societies were calling Duval to be BEllamy. -
Has to be something that Croc either dosen't want Luffy and the other pirates to know OR dosen't want the WG and marines to know
@junte86
where will Iva find water or any other liquid to suppress Croc? -

I still remember the time when Japan and Korea fan societies were calling Duval to be BEllamy.yeah youre right, its weakness. I just see it as a secret cause it seems that corc does not want luffy to know either. and that excludes it to be the liquid-weakness.
but youre right anyways
@ NEO:
hmm maybe not Ivankov, but if luffy is in gear 2nd, he sweats and his skin gets wet…would be a possibility.
but thats not what you are trying to say, so i see it really has to be another weakness -
Yeah, if it was the water thing, even Robin knows about that. It has to be something that wouldn't hurt him physically, but ruin his image.
-
ALthough I am not really that against croc being woman once,…but that only implies if Oda somehow masterfully crafts what happened. and One thing I am negative about croc being woman is.. that doesnt make sense to become his weakness as Ivankov can turn anyone to woman and Ivankov could just say he will turn him back to woman or some sort of blackmailing and this can be applied to any kind of charcter...
and the last reason is recently we have gotten many female characters and I fail to see the point of Oda trying to change Croc's gender..
I think the only reason Oda introduced Ivan's gender changing power is to trick some people and well now in SBS he will get tons of question asking him to draw the female version of any character.
-
I speculate it is a phobia. Also maybe something traumatizing happened before Croc got the Suna Suna no mi. I hope I am wrong though, I want to see Logias have more weakness than seastone or natural enemies (and possibly ambition). Especially when in the new world all the top dogs could very well have Logias since it is so broken.
-
well at least two top dogs have haki that is so large that can split the sky.
-
It probably ties in to how he lost his hand, or got that facial scar. Croc thinks very highly of himself, as we all know, so I doubt he'd want something like that to become common knowledge, and make him look weak. I'm tempted to say it'll explain his disdain for friendship and dreams and such, but that just seems to be part of his bastardly personality. Most likely, it was a humiliating loss (one with a story behind it) that occurred before he ate the Sand Sand Fruit and turned into living nature.
Oh, and: NIGGA STOLE MY AVATAR!
-
He was a hermaphrodite?
or maybe his dicks too small and iva made it bigger. Circumcision: OP style -
Now that Oda has introduced "gender bender" into One Piece, God help us from all these gender switch theories by perverts.
-
He wanted to be Pirate King.
It's not a secret from our perspective (unless the reader is of the dim-witted variety) but it would probably be a big shock to Luffy.

You can discuss this
in the Chapter Threadhere or the Official Shichibukai Discussion Thread. -
Need the next chapter fast. I'm dying waiting to see this imba team turn impel down up!
-
hey guys! it's edward scissorhands!
hahaha!
-
Can't believe how well Oda do make old character's comebacks. Take Crocodile for example. I just can't say anything bad about him even if he's an enemy. Just like Buggy and Mr. 3 = Pure awesomeness.
