Anime Ep at Golden Week

Well it's common knowledge along manga fans that there's no chapter for (almost?) every series at Golden Week. So why is there no break in the anime? Do the animators have to work during Golden Week? Or do they have some kind of buffer like a few episodes done already, only waiting to be aired?

Well, of course the episodes are ahead. Also, the manga is at least two weeks ahead (info from the manga 'Bakuman').

I'm under the impression that the episodes are already made, so all they have to do is air them.
