Is that actually true? I haven't heard of any coming changes to Youtube.

They have already added the Shows tab, and on the page with popular videos, recently added, there is a tab for movies. They have added the feature to dim the screen around the vid so it looks like you are watching tv.

Yeah, I've noticed this and all the stricter impositions they have on uploaded videos. It's depressing.

That video was just a bunch of doomsday prophecies and paranoia. I HIGHLY doubt Youtube will be going under anytime soon.

Yes, YouTube has been sucking for a while. We've known this since the beginning of when Google obtained it and throwing around false copyright claims against people you hate can get them insta-banned from YT.
But what doesn't help are these people making videos like that who don't help in any way. Causing mass hysteria over BS and assuming telling YouTube to go back to their old ways won't fix anything, nor will YT care if it's even true at all.

True, Youtube is a buisness, and won't change just because "they care" It does Suck though, there is a funny video on youtube, look up the vid, "the day youtube died"

Just get rid of youtube, who cares about it anyway. . .
besides, if it becomes consumer unfriendly then we will go awayfrom youtube, then the big businesses will go away and we are back to square one. There will also always be sites that try to compete with youtube so let's give them a chance
