For all we know the ID staff could offer them a deal to get a full pardon if they help out with stopping the riot because right now, there's no chance in hell that the ID staff can take care of this thing by themselves.

Well i'm glad mr1 has been released, and we know what buggy and mr3 have been up to. Don't see why Croc didn't blow holes in the roof of each floor. Anyway seemingly nice chapter it's everyone on a mission to escape now.

I still think that Shiryuu will double cross Impel Down and release all the prisoners from level 6. But regardless of the reason, I also doubt that we've seen the last of the prisoners from level 6. Oda will bring them into the story some way or another.

just because the title isn't the real title, doesn't mean you have to shoot it down..... the mods will eventually change it,when the real title is being translated....

As for some people here who thinks mentioning a name in the storyline means the character is COMPULSORY to appear, must be dreaming they are Oda or they own Oda or they are Oda's master.
This chapter is showing Luffy and Croc working together. For the AMC's, they are already jumping for joy over this. Yet, some are still not satisfied at all. Unlike in Bleach and Naruto, One Piece is pulling away strongly. Only some of the fans and naysayers are saying it's going down hill, why? because their favourite non-main cast characters still haven't appear yet.
I wonder who is the main characters in One Piece? Luffy and gang? or the other characters?Pro-Main Cast Evangelist. In Oda We Trust. TheJackAss Crew. AMC = Anti-main Cast. Luffy x Nami.

ID isn't the prison of the pirates the SHs defeated + jimbei and Chuck norris + newkamas.
Level 6 is pomising. Letting these promising characters enter the story would be awesome.

It's understandable how watching luffy run around with others and not just any others but past criminals is slightly an odd sight. Though for me I've decided to just see where it goes and not bother with complaining too much anymore since it won't change much if anything.

A comment to the title: I think it's completely wrong.
I translated it in german as "Wie noch nie zuvor". In english it would be something like "Like never (happened) before". It surely was difficult to translate, because Iva just speeks like … I don't know! xD There is nothing it could be compared to...
The title is part of Iva's great motivation speech in Level 5:
"We will create a great panic in this Impel Down, like never seen before!"Hm, sounds a bit crappy, but that's how it is. But please change the title!

Because he's pissed off. Chief Warden and he got locked up. Of course he's offering his power, it's the only way they'll let him out of the cage. We have no idea how bitter he is for being put in there in the first place. He could easily hold a huge grudge over this. He wouldn't release them "for fun," he'd release them to get back at Magellan and company.
He might not care about Luffy for anything besides giving him an opportunity. We don't really know.

Mag, are you serious? You honestly think there is no way that he is bitter about being locked up and will cause a rampage in ID upon being unlocked? It would very well fit in to the general motif of this arc. As far as his chances to live go, why not take the X-Drake route? Don't state things as if they are fact when we know NOTHING about shiryuu other than he liked to massacre prisoners and was consequently imprisoned. I think it's very safe to say he carries SOME resentment.

Well, no I don't think he would do that and pretend that he didn't. If he double crosses ID, he probably has no intentions of capturing anyone. The image in my mind is him wanting to squash ID like a bug and leave. He's already a criminal. I'm not saying that Shiryuu is definitely going to double cross ID, Ivotas' explanation is logical as well. But it's definitely possible, and for you to sit here and tell me what Shiryuu is thinking like it's fact is rediculous.

I guess it had a similar feeling of epicness to it. The events themselves weren't that similar though. Luffy, Kidd, and Law were showing off to each other. Luffy went gear 3rd on a group of fodder marines, which is a bit overkill. Kidd and Law probably similarly used their strongest attacks.
With Luffy, Jimbei, and Croc, all three of them are holding back. They know the real fight is soon to come and they've probably got their minds on that. Rain is a new move, but it looks to just be a massive fodder clearing move. I don't see it being very effective against someone strong.
