The current story is going through the motions of setting up characters and whatnot. But that said it still feels really slow, not to mention that its handled really badly. I guess this is most obvious when you look at everything that has happened the last few chapters, and ask yourself why Tamura bothered introducing so many people that at this point in time bare little relevance to the plot or Ogas progression.
Realistically they should have cut everything out of the last three chapters, to the moment of Oga finding, defeating and using the henchmen as a tool to finding the main base. This could have cut it down a lot quicker and made free page space that could have been dedicated towards something worth covering.
I also dont like how poor the humor is. The US has some many stereotypes to bash, yet they've pretty much gone for jokes revolving around the language mistranslation and thats it. Im not even going to go into the macdonalds or samurai jokes.
I really hope Tamura turns this around and gets some solid character and chapter progression, packed more tightly into each chapter, as well as the return of some really good running gags that work in both languages.

! So is the series winding down to a finale? This did do the whole "we tied up all the past villains into one mastermind" thing and given the explanation of Beel in the human world is fully explained now, not really sure where else the story can be taken.

! I doubt it. We still got the rest of the demon kings (like the one from when they went to the demon realm and Beel became a giant, and that dude named Athrun stopped it all). Then there's Fuji and that crap.
! This is like the introduction of the arc. Kind of like an exposition shot. Now Oga and them are going to start working toward freeing Queen Iris, keeping the demon world united, dealing with Solomon, and keeping the Earth safe.
! It's the beginning of the beginning of the end or so -

Aizen has become like the pinnacle poster boy of this is all going according to my plan from the very start due to Bleach being so bad so other characters who do it and not in a worse way will get compared to him. This is opposed to them being compared to somebody like say Light due to Death Note actually being a good manga.

It really does feel like Beelzebub is turning into Bleach. Except its still a lot more readable >.>

That's because, when you get down to it, the plot in Beelzebub has always been pretty lackluster and its execution has been straight up bad at times. The comedy, though, shines pretty brightly. I've gotten somewhat tired of this series over time, but I always look forward to when it makes me laugh.

Why drop it? Unless its so bad its painful to read it, spending 5 minutes reading a chapter per week hardly makes any difference in time consumption and you will be somewhat entertained during that time.

Well, that's the first time in few month that a chapter of a manga was touching like that for me, (and that's not the King Riku, Dwarves, or Rebecca story, Obito as well that will make me tearseyes…)
Thanks that it's not only just comedy/action, and a little bit of drama. Beel was never been so cool and emoving with his "Da Da"
