Wow, that episode was like 90% filler. Plus the animation seemed worse than the last episode too. Not a good sign.
What do you expect from the early episodes? I'd give it a few till it has the chance to really focus on the mangas plot/direction.
The sound in that link doesn't work the whole way through, which I'm guessing isn't just for me.
Stopped watching after the sound crapped out, but otherwise it seemed to stick a bit more closely to the actual plot than the first episode did(and I lol'd at the opening filler bit). Might just be bad memory on my part, though.
^Same here for the sound.
Guess i'll give some episodes till i drop it.

Me too.
What a damn rip-off!

Here, that's where I'm watching it now. So far the sound has been working and I'm almost done Part 1. Enjoy.
Episode 2 was actually tons better than Episode 1.
Had me laughing throughout, mostly thanks to Alain Delon.
Regained faith in the adaptation.

That site has mirrors, there's one working, take a look above the video.
My main issue with the anime is the zapping joke, they're way overdoing it.
Other than that, episode 2 was pretty funny.
I wonder if Oga's old man was once a dilinquent.
Episode 2…ahhh they messed up the sliding knee bow. It could have been more dramatic. sigh
Why is the chapter still not out in English?
everytime i see the thundershock joke i think of pikachu and "chuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!"

I think more of him..
honest to god i have no idea who or what that is, also baby beel makes a similar "…uuuuuuuuuuuu" noise like pikachu does

Well, its from an anime entitled Mojacko. Its old and came from Fujiko F. Fujio's manga Bokura who also wrote Doraemon . That character is Mojaru who's also a non-talking baby which when cries makes a very loud resonance which affects almost everyone around him. (as far as my mermory serves me right)
He just reminds me of Beel coz they're both green and they are the same babies whom you don't want to cry.
Studio Pierrot seems to really love the zapping joke. It happened one time in the chapter and about 8 times here. Though a ton it was filler. The laughing joke when they're talking about the fate of the world lying in Oga's hands was so much funnier in the manga, zoo.
idk if everyone knows that this is out
Is it me or was the translation a bit weird?
lol, "Loicon". Yeah, the translation was a bit weird.. I also thought it was funny that they wrote Beelzabub on their credits page
I'm waiting for IEatManga's translation to download it.
Awesome chapter, I laughed at Furuichi.
EDIT: And yeah, the tranlation was strange.
The raw for that chapter looks like its from a chinese scan, which may explain why the translation's a bit off.
Nice fun chap .
The second episode was absolutely awesome.
Seeing Alain, oga and furuichi laughing was quite a sight.

qwahahahahahah…..qwahahahahahha.....qwhahahahhahahha...QWAHAHAHAHAH.....
This episode was indeed awesome. Can't wait for some fights though.
So far i'm still seeing it as: Manga>Anime
Even the crying and electicuting jokes i'm not laughing.
And what the hell is up with all of that stilled animation? damn Toei animate. Having a guy in a stilled position with his tounge flapping is not animation.

Haven't seen the anime yet, but a friend of mine who recently got into OP says he hated/dropped it because it's similar to Fairy Tail.
Is Beelzebub really similar to FT? I don't recall FT being anything like this…

The heck to Toei have to do with anything?
Beelzebub is animated by Studio Pierrot.

Maybe he dropped OP, not Beel

What? Not really.
Beelzebub is mainly a battle manga, with several comedy bits.
Fairy Tail is more like an action/adventure manga.
Beelzebub is extremely funnier than OP and FT. There's really nothing similar with Beel and FT or much that I can see between FT and OP. Unless you find Mashima's shameless antics of fan service and plot holes really funny.
New chapter is hilarious, both sides of it, Oga's training and Furuichi's search for En. I love how almost the whole Ishiyama student body turned up at the arcades.
Sadly, I can't say anything as positive about the new episode. The first one left me happy, but a bit worried - and now this worry has grown. Pierrot ugly head has begun to show - boring, overdone fillers and weak animation quality. Sure, there were very nice moments, especially with Alain Delon and casual Demon King. However, if this trend continues, I fear what can become of this show by episode 10.
god its so disappointing
they overdo the jokes
especially the crying jokes
and its overly cartoony
kinda like what the gintama anime is to the manga
except 10 times worse
because i laughed at gintama sometimes
on the bright side, the voice actors are all perfect matches so far
The overdone crying jokes are quite annoying in the anime, I agree, but as I recall from the manga that tapers off after a few chapters, so hopefully the anime will stop as well. But yeah, so far the manga is definitely better.
Beelzebub cried one time in the second manga chapter. He cried 9 times in the second anime episode.

Come on. Only complaint about Gintama's anime can be somewhat weak art - than again, manga itself isn't an artistical masterpiece. Everything else is very well made.
To compair it to Pierrot is an insult.
Beelzebub cried one time in the second manga chapter. He cried 9 times in the second anime episode.
Episode 2 didn't just take material from chapter 2, it used bits from all over the place.
I do agree the crying was overdone, although it hardly ruined the episode for me. It was still a lot of fun.
I'm really giving the show the benefit of the doubt. The crying gags are rediculously overdone. But so far I've enjoyed the humor quite a bit. The VAs are really good to. I have a feeling once things get more focused on the 4 bosses of the school, things will even out
"I love Hilda-san's Ass!"
General Furuichi
Furuichi is the best when the subject is humor. It's sad how Pierrot didn't put him in the opening.

Pierott than, there animation is lazy.

I'll say Beel is funnier than FT
but funnier than OP? don't think so, I've laughed more at OP than I have at Beel.
Remember i'm that fan that likes the series yet I don't see every chapter as: OMG THAT WAZ DAH AWESOMENESS CHAPTAH EVAR!!2213211!!!!.
Like most people here do.

Its so obvious that they did that on purpose, expect Furuichi to point that in a episode.
My kind of humor gets more happy with Beelzebub than One Piece. There were few parts of One Piece that I laughed, I think that I had already laughed more in the 2th chapter of Beelzebub than I ever laughed with One Piece.

I expect Pierrot to do something nice in the next episodes, even if I don't have faith in that.
And yes, Beel is much more funny than FT. But I don't think Beel is funnier than OP or the inverse. I think both are very funny. And Beel have new chapters that surpasses the last ones, except at the game of volleyball, that ''saga'' was boring.

To me the last "awesome" chapter would have to be where Toujo was beating the crap out of that demon.
Comedy wise I would like to see more manga references cause those dragonball jokes had me laughing so hard my sides hurt.
As far as the story is concerned, I do like the progress that the plot is going.
Speaking of which I need to read that new chapter, I only looked at the raw.
Comedy wise, I find Beelzebub a lot funnier than OP(and god, Fairy Tail isn't close at all really) since I'll generally have a few good laughs every chapter. It's just a lot more comedy focused, which is part of the charm.
I find Beelzebub a lot funnier then OP also.
Beelzebub has more comedy than One Piece. It's almost a gag manga at some points, so its no surprise that it's often funnier.
