I think Baby Be'el is just attuned so well to Oga by now that he dont need to seek another parent anymore, and while Saotome is most likely strongest guy introduced by this far (save Beelzebubs and perhaps Aoi's fathers) he may not have other requirments that Beelzebub wants from his parents.

I think Beelzebub wont be leaving Oga anymore in this series.

Good chapter, as usual. I got a laugh out of Be'el's new fanclub and Miki's awkward attempt at friendship (we'll never be rid of this kid, it seems). Oga's rebuff was hilarious. Loved Saotome's entrance. I'm really interested in this guy, I can't wait to see what his deal is and how relations will progress between him & the students. He certainly seems formidable–perhaps he can even teach Toujou & Oga a thing or two in the future.

Ah, but it's good practice for writing. You can expiriment with several character's feelings, with plots, and with writing styles. And if you can create a good OC that fits into the story well, then that's good practice for creating your own characters.

What about the fan fiction that creates their own characters using elements from a manga story to an extent?

I've (surprisingly) found some interesting OP fanfics on that site with ppl making their own characters and to a point their own story.

Dunno if that approach would work with Beelzebub though.

The only good fan fiction is the fiction that actually keeps the characters acting like they would in the manga. That's probably why I automatically hate most(if not all) romance One Piece fanfics.

Never have read a OP fanfic that tried to write the actual cast. Like I automatically knew it was a bad idea and stayed away from that on that site. Unless we're talking about a shitty manga.

Most fanfiction sucks, I'll agree to that. It just takes a little effort to find some good ones. And when you do find a good one, they're usually really good.

It's completed, the characters, are all ic, there are no bad OCs, a great villain, just some romance which is for the most part ignorable to a point, a great plot, great DF ideas, great interactions between the OP charas and the OCs, the story isn't completely centered around the OCs, great fights, great humor, and it has amazing writing.

here's a little snippit that's one of my fave parts:

Larry sighed and ran his fingers through his hair, brushing the soaked strands back from his face. He soon realised that this was a pointless action as the next gust of wind simply blew his hair into disarray again.

Storms…storms should be scary He reflected critically as he glanced around the ship. Then it occurred to him that perhaps this storm was scary, it's just…it wasn't as scary as the people aboard the ship, who- needless to say- didn't look very impressed.

Larry began to feel slightly sorry for the storm; it really was trying its hardest. Lots of thunder and fearsome looking lightning bolts, the waves actually managed to rock the ship in quite a worrying way, but the crew seemed to have lost interest. The problem was that it was only scary on a scale for normal people. Not these monsters who had a reputation for surviving lightning and then going after the bloke who'd dared throw it at them, God or not.

When a thunderclap sounded that was so deafening that it actually shook the ship with the sheer force of its sound, Sanji just blinked and lit a cigarette while Zoro continued to snore in the crows nest (you could hear him over the loudspeakers) that was really the final straw for the storm. It rumbled angrily and the waves tossed the ship violently, sending Larry hurtling into space- for a while anyway

"TIME SPLIT!"

Larry dived into his portal and arrived back onto the ship in seconds, looks like he had healed enough to teleport in one world anyway. Luffy cackled from his place on the figurehead

"That's awesome! Can you do it again?"

Larry opened his mouth, probably to mention something logical like y'know, the storm that was currently happening all around them, when the storm (in a fit of temper) sent a lightning bolt crashing down onto the figurehead where Luffy sat.

"Oh." Luffy looked mildly surprised as the raging light surrounded him.

"Are you alright?" Larry gasped, again that numb feeling came where fear should have been

"Yeah- I'm fine." Luffy said calmly, he did look fine; the only sign of any lightning attack was the singed edge of his coat. The Pirate King looked up to the storm with fathomless eyes "Oi…don't get in my way."

Larry blinked in astonishment, was it just him or did those clouds looked kind of…embarrassed? They seemed to almost squirm under the Pirate King's gaze. Larry blinked again as the once fearsome storm did an awkward shuffle, weakening as clouds drifted away, obviously wanting to pretend that nothing had happened. They were professionals after all.

How am I noticing this and not going insane? Larry looked a bit wild-eyed; he was travelling with a man, whose fearless idiocy was now apparently rubbing off on him, who had told a huge storm to leave because it was getting in his way. Told a storm to leave.

Larry sat down, he was suddenly overcome by the terrible feeling that someone up there was watching him intently…and then dissolving into hysterical giggles.[/hide]

And just for he sake of being on topic, I wonder how this new teacher is gonna teach the main group. Or what he's gonna teach them for that matter. For all we know, he might teach them the normal curriculim or he might just teach them how to fight or somethin'. shrug o3o

I wonder what Hilda's scheming now, the part about her missing is overshadowed by the rest of the chapter which was just awesome, making it seem like when she shows back up there will be another big revelation.

The original bubble says: トトロ。。。？　[Totoro….?]

I suspect the guy meant 「となりのトトロ」[My Neighbour Totoro] which is after looking it up, a very popular children's anime film from Studio Ghibli.
