While on anime news network i came across this interesting article. Its a survey of anime and manga in japan. Theres some interesting stuff, but the coolest think is one piece is more popular with girls of a certain age group (20's) than boys. Its cool to see Oda's manga high on the list. The usual staples are there, but no Naruto, or Bleach. Well what do you guys i think?

Interesting, alittle be surprised at just how many 30s/40s enjoy manga and animation. A little bit surprised that one piece wasn't in 20s for boys aswell.
I'm slightly surprised at the Doraemon in the list… For some reason, I didn't think people would still be reading that as much.
But then again, I also thought the whole Pokemon fanbase was pretty much dead over there too, but it's #3 in the female teens category.
So what do I know.
And woo for females in their 20s reading One Piece!

me too , i am also happy that dbz is very high, but i am suprised that they don't seem to like games

Seems like mostly Japanese teenagers likes One Piece, strange because its 13 years old and the 20s and over have grown up with it while the teens were mostly 3 and 4 when it started; guess there are a ton of new generation fans, specially following the recent War arc..
