It was probably done through the EU to avoid having to risk voting on the issue in Britain's own Parliament. I know in the US that kind of stint wouldn't fly any farther than a lead pigeon off of Notre Dame's parapets.

ive got loads of security on my laptop, and after about a minute they all began alerting me to something wrong specifically from that site page, my computer then stated going funny and caused me to wipe, scan and clean my laptop to avoid any further damage
fingers crossed it had nothing to do with this conficker thing????:wassat:

The stupidity of this directive is ginormous. The privacy of millions of people will be compromised to help catch criminals and fight terrorists ? Haven't they once considered if e-mails aren't safe anymore maybe criminals and terrorists won't use emails? The stupid directive doesn't even watch MSN messaging.
Not even the US with all its phone-tapping and terrorist scared carte-blanche giving citizens would be stupid enough to do something like this.
