Chance of Before Crisis & others having a US release?

Square recently announced a mobile port for WiiWare in America; the game they announced was a sequal to Final Fantasy IV originally released on mobile in Japan:

Since IV is one of my favorites, I was excited at first when I heard the news. But then after finding out it was a port of a mobile game AND a kid spinoff, I'm pretty sure I won't get it.

But look at it like this… if Square's porting this mobile game onto the Wii, then what's to stop them from porting other mobile games like Before Crisis FF7 or KH Coded? America rarely ever gets mobile games from Japan or Square because they only work on certain phones in Japan. So if they're doing a port for this game, then I'm sure other games are to follow (like Crisis & Coded). I have a feeling we'll see both on the Wii, seeing as this is the only way we can get them at this point and it'll make Square money.

Granted this is only a theory, but it's a well supported one IMO. Thoughts?

They work on iPhone.

Besides that, the Japanese versions of Phone games seemed to be getting ported as well (Crystal Defenders is most recent)

At some point Square talked about Before Crisis being brought over, but nothing ever happened with that.

But with the iPhone, and now all of these smaller downloadable games going on the market, maybe there'll be a better chance. I for one would love to play Before Crisis on my iPhone or…..at all.

There's a chance it could come over on iPhone too or only on iPhone even. I was just pointing out that they're porting one mobile to WiiWare, so we may see more.

I'd buy Coded if it was released on WW, but the story of BC just doesn't appeal to me
