As much as I like action and violence in these DC animated features as of yet, this is taking it too far.

Oh, man, I loved Public Enemies. I'm so worried about how they'll do this, though. Hope Bruce Timm is working on it.
ALTHOUGH, aintitcool isn't always something you should take at face value. Some of their stuff have been pretty tabloid.
Already knew this (before GL) but didn't know it was coming out this year.
My anticipation for it isn't too high but for what comes AFTER is what I really want to know (please just get The Judas Contract out already).
@ybmc- Bruce Timm is stated to be the producer behind this feature as AICN states.
Bruce Timm is working on it, as is LeSean(one of my favorite character designers/storyboards.) and apparantly Michael Gougen and Sam Liu.
So they're replicating McG's art for this feature-
Comes out end of this year.
Catman cameo FTW.
I never read this series, so this should be quite entertaining…BTW, is this an ongoing series? If not, how long was it?
How violent is it?
President Lex Luthor? So its Supes and Batman against the white house.
I'm assuming this isn't DCAU? I hope it has Clancy Brown & Kevin Conroy at least.
@Jedi Master- Nope it's just an animated movie, dunno if they'd animate the next story which introduces Kara to the DCU.
@wolfwood- Sorta, though thanks to his influence, Luthor can pretty much call on the aid of every villain in the DCU…and hero :V
@Darkstorm- Nope this has shouldn't be part of the DCAU, the last entry in that series over the past few years was JLU I think.
This movie is based on the first story arc in the comic book series Superman/Batman
OOOOOOOOOOH!!
This looks AWESOME!!
Public Enemies as an Animated film?! VERY YES!!
Just tell me the DCAU cast comes back, we NEED more Kevin Conroy

Will Kevin Conroy is in it, he said that himself in one of the IGN podcasts :)
This one apparently, half an hour in.
Great news. And since they're using Conroy, it opens the door for other DCAU voices, such as Clancy Brown, which would be great.
I'm hoping for George Newbern to do Superman, with Kevin Conroy coming in.

If he doesn't use his Batman:TAS voice, then no thanks.
He sounded terrible in JLA/JLU and terrible in Gotham Knight.

What kind of hero would take Luthor's word over Batmans? That guy is a renowned douche.
Trailer looked pretty nice even with the somewhat ugly art work, but with villains like Solomon Grundy and Metallo it was more than enough to please me. Cant for the life oif me figure out who that gigant organge dude at 0:41 is, Tizoc you seem pretty knowledgeble can you name him?
Well Luthor's the president, and when you're the president you kinda get what you want…hard to believe but that's what happened.
Typical Jeph Loeb ridiculousness :/ I mean for crying out loud
! Batman and Superman save the day by having some asian kid build a giant ass mecha that looks half Superman and half Batman (it's at the end of the trailer)
As for the orange guy on the right at 0:41, he is called Brimstone-

```Mind you that's the first time I've seen him :P
So…what do you think will come after this? The big three got their own animated movies, Green Lantern, Justice League, Teen Titans..
A Green Arrow movie could be interesting. Longbow Hunters is a good story, or they could adapt the Onomatopoeia story in Broken Saints/Watchmen motion comic style.
Of course, this is my wishful thinking and they will do something entirely different.
As for Public Enemies, I hope the script will be better than it's comic book counterpart.
Infinite Crisis?
I personally want to see them make a Sinestro Corps War animated series that eventually leads into a Blackest Night animated series.
Oh there is actually an animated movie in the planning; Teen Titans: Judas Contract
I think the original Crisis would be a lot better choice. Just leave out the multiverse part(seriously, it wouldn't work in a movie) and bring out Anti-Monitor destroying stuff.
Flash: Iron Heights wouldn't be a bad story to adapt.
You mean Crisis on Infinite Earths, I assume. The original Crisis was just One & Two.
Infinite Crisis is the more adaptable story to me, but it would be great to see either (or both).
Personally, on group/ character specific animated features, I want Captain Marvel, Hawk and Dove, Atom, and current JSA to have movies made.
Reasons for each: Captain Marvel (Billy Batson) is one of my favorite heroes of all time and is awesome. Go with either the Jeff Smith version from a year or so ago, or a sweet ass Marvel family versus Black Adam and you have a winner. Straight up, Marvel and Black Adam are probably even heavier-hitters than Superman.
Hawk and Dove are a great duo and get NO remembrance that I ever see. Do an origin involving them fighting against Kestrel, or a story leading up to the Armageddon storyline in which Hawk becomes Monarch. Sweet.
Atom is a character that always intrigued me, but I don't know much about. A feature on him would be cool.
JSA are a much more diverse family unit than JLA and the characters have more sideline things going on. JLA is nearly unbeatable, JSA has to fight much harder. I just want to see some of the Power Girl, Star Girl and Alan Scott stuff shown.
On a major event feature adaptation:
Kingdom Come. Amazing, and finally I'd have a straight animated version. I love Alex Ross paintings, but the whole comic is too much. I always wanted to see it in normal animation. That reminds me, Thy Kingdom Come could be good as well.
Identity Crisis has an awesome whodunnit type feel and nice cameos to throw out there.
Batman: Death in the Family, where Jason Todd gets killed would be a nice thing to see. Hopefully go back to Jason being the blond one, but doubtful. Fill it with small flashbacks of Jason being brought in after Dick left and his death could be very touching.
Green Lantern has a lot more I'd like to see, the original Parallax (CyborgSuperman and all build-up through Hal dying), Rebirth (Hal's return), Sinestro Corp War, the whole Blackest Night stuff building up. Man, GL is hot these last few years.
ANYTHING with Superman-Prime. I love that psycho.
As said before, Crisis on IE, Infinite Crisis, Final Crisis… all would be great to see. For both Marvel and DC, I would love all their major crossovers to have an accurate animated feature follow a few years after.
End my Christmas wishlist rant.
