Would people around here stop calling Hancock "Boa"!!!! Yes, Boa is a part of her name, but it's her freakin' LAST NAME!!! You might as well call Luffy for "Monkey", Zoro for "Roronoa", Chopper for "Tony", Robin for "Nico", Lucci for "Rob" and so on, if you're too stupid to realize this fact with Hancock!!

I've only seen 2 people or so in here that actually called her by first name!! I get insanely annoyed about this!!!

Said in another way: How come you people have got this stupid trend of calling Hancock by her last name, when you don't call the other newly introduced characters with two names by their last name?

By the way, it may be pretty confusing on a new member since her sisters' last names are "Boa", too.

Putting aside your stupid rambling for a minute. As far as I know in Japanese culture it is proper to refer to someone by his/her surname.

Also, why would you care… this is sad that you would actual take offense to how people refer to a character.

I for myself call her hancock :) The only problem are the other 2. I can't recall their names so i often use boa sisters. And yeah if i wanted to i would have found their names. But i'm comfortable with "boa sisters". You could have posted this in the "what really piss you off" thread.

Actually Japanese use the Surname first as a way to honor their ancestors. So Luffy and Zoro are their given name, and Monkey and Roronoa their surnames. Atleast in the united states we refer to them as First and Last because that is how we do our names.

I didn't read all of it; that avatar is just too mesmerizing. I don't… I can't... anyway, considering that Hancock's sisters aren't in the picture at the moment and no one talks about them anyway, I see no problem with calling Hancock Boa. You would have to be pretty thick to get confused by that. Really, really thick. Politician thick.

i don't regualy hear luffy D Monkey so it would sound weird to me. keep in mind that the name was made by a creator and was made so the name would be catchy- he wouldn't make a name then think "but I should really put the names the other way round" thus decoolifying it.
