Due to the above-average typesetting demands of this episode making an external script is considerably more complicated than normal. It'll come eventually but I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you.

Aside from the weaboo attack name crap, this was a good episode. Again, attacks aside, it was all well-translated and read fluidly.

Hi every one at Arlong park this is my first post here and i don't wanna sound offensive in any way but I wanted to request yibis to please give meanings of the NEW attack moves.I know that you usually do,but in this episode you did not mention the attack performed by Brooke "Gavotte Bond en Avant" whereas ACSF did mention the meaning,but then in Ep 389 the attack "GAON HOU" performed by thousand sunny yibis gave the meaning whereas ACSF did not SO Please give meanings of attack moves that have not been performed previously
By the way I really appreciate what Both yibis and ACSF are doing.Keep subbing

Yeah, picture quality was superb. I still would prefer Drake's clothes to be black like the manga rather than dark blue, but it looks a lot better with the video you guys encoded. Great job.
Also, out of curiosity, I understand why you guys have a translation note when Luffy attacks the first time with Pistol. I was merely surprised that the same note appeared with Bazooka. Will this be consistent with future releases?

…Though technically, the Brook-note wasn't really missing, as I, for one, never intended for there to be one in the first place, seeing how his attacks are not japanese, and as such, we're probably not supposed to understand what they mean anyway. (Actually, I have absolutely no idea what it means.)
Anyway, I didn't like how the translations for the attacks were handled in this episode either. I was thinking that maybe we could like, move the stylised attack-FX a bit higher up, and write the literal english translations under them or something...
...Hang on, why am I suggesting that here anyway?
hmm that's probably a bad idea viewers are not use to that + it blocks more of the bottom screen

I agree with vegard on the whole, not translating stuff that isn't japanese, thing. That being said, I don't see what was wrong with the stylized effects. Having more stuff at the bottom would just be a distraction. Keeping the notes up top keeps things cleaner in my opinion.
The stylized effects are unnecissary and silly, to be honest. I've always been for the oldschool method of subbing something with a third language; one line with the untraslated bit, and below it (in parenthesis or another color) the translation. Like pro stuff does with OPs and such. For instance:

About Gaon Hou, it would be better to just keep it Gaon Canon than Roar Canon, because that simply looks stupid as it doesn't make sense.
IIRC, subject comes first before object in japanese, which isn't the case in English, so the proper translation would be Canon Roar.
Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong
