Why is it that 90% of the time I can't connect to Yibis.com? I usually have to wait for the episode to be put on nyaa torrents since I can almost never connect to the site.

What's the point of dl a raw when the encoded episodes are ready?
hardsubs sucks. especially if you have several sub files with different languages for example.

I like to have the Raws on the harddrive to have the "all in one" pack. Viewing english subs, making AMVs, viewing the subs again when they have been translated to your mother tongue. There's plenty of reasons to stick with the Raw+Script. And no one likes to download the wrong Raw.

Sorry, I overlooked that reply. I didnt't say our hardsubs have fx I said BOTH our releases have fx. But even though I was talking about our softsubbed mkv your point still stands and I agree. Fx really do piss all over an episode, I didn't think of that :)
The raw isn't necessarily provided by zero raws, different providers have grabbed the same raws off of japanese p2p before so just look for an 1280x720 mp4 at http://www.tokyotosho.com/index.php and you'll be fine. The torrent gets posted every week in the raw episode discussion thread anyway.

Of course I was talking about the mkv and not the avi. They are both reencoded several times actually but not both hardsubbed (apart from any possible fx). That's also why the raw is not guaranteed to be frame accurate with the script because the script we post is timed to a reencoded video that more often than not ends up with a different number of frames than the raw. I haven't noticed any sync problems so far though when checking out the external script with the raw, just saying it can happen.

Thanks for the release, but I have one point of criticism.
It seems you guys have really long lines that don't stay on the screen for very long, to the extent that I find my self just reading the subtitles instead of watching the show. Perhaps you could shorten the amount of text that appears on the screen at any one time, and display the subtitles for a few milliseconds after the speaking stops.
This is just what I think might improve the quality of the subs :)
