I know there is a topic for this, but I can't seem to find it. So I decided to do this one.
Anyway, as you know, this manga is made by Hiroyuki Takei. The first chapter of it (though it's actually says it is ch 265) is on onemanga (just scroll). I don't know if this is true or not, but is it possible that he is going to finish for good this time? Like for example beat all the Indian guys and then get to the SK and beat him too

Now on to the chapter discusion. Apparently this chapter shows marcus and luchists little squabble before our heroe's start to fight the patch. Luchists reason for individual justice to me made a hell of a lot of scence how each individual has there own justice and that there justice may not seem right to other people. This chapter was downright awesome, I just hope that he decides to re-write the patch fights to make them seem more interesting cause to be honest they were cool but not epic as they should of been and now I am so waiting for the alien looking patch to fight in that "universe" room. I also had a theory that the one patch who "chose" HoroHoro would end up joining yoh's side but I forgot how that theory went.

Good: Luchist's speech about the "losers" being the "evil ones", Marco's glasses OS at the end.
Bad: It's still essentially "gay clown fight pt. 2" between those two. (as you can tell I didn't like the first one)
Evens out but I'm positive after this for how the rest of the "real ending" will turn out.

A bit of both. There was a link I saw somewhere that Kang Zeng Bang vol. 26 has a chapter that goes exactly where the former left off: they wake up from their "nap" and Horohoro goes back to his fight. I think the only real fill-in was Marco/Luchist.
I just hope that this time around we get to know more about Horohoro

The finale of Marco/Luchist is up…and "gay" comments aside (yes, some of this was just as disturbing and what we saw before), Marco impressed me with how he ended himself.
Is it just me, or has the artwork really been kicked up a notch? The characters aren't so sketchy/full of whiteness as when he left off. I really liked it.
And according to http://shamanking-nation.com/ultimate-kzb-guide/, kanzenban 26 will contain 4 new chapters and a rewrite of the former end chapter.
Vol 27 will contain 7 all new chapters. Out on March 4th!! I can't wait!
what's really neat is that the two kang zang bang chapters between the original 264 and 265 actually make it flow alot better.

So you were at Yoh vs. Faust than?….damn...that's at least...volume 6. Depends on how fast you read it, the rest of the Kang Zeng Bang chapters may be out when you get to the rest of the series, I for one plan on re-reading the entire series once those chapters come out.

Originaly they complained that the fans were hurriyng them to get the relases out, that's ok, they are taking time out of their days and money out of their wallets to make the new content avilable to everyone, even if it is anoying that they are 6-7 months behind in the relases, it is their material and the only providers.

Well incase noone has realised Kang Zeng Bang chapter 287: good morning mu continent which starts right after 285: good night (which would actually be 286, this is due to the fact of the added 2 chapters to show what happend between Luchist and Marco when they first arrived to mu and disregard the other so called "ending" from volume 32). This chapter was pretty damn neat, Kalims animal is one of my favorites besides the snake from the desert area or the spider from the cliff area. At the end of the chapter Kalim asks Usui Horokeu to show his true form which i'm rather excited to see what it is. I've been curious ever since Opacho has stated that she was "scared" of horohoro and I do believe the reason "why" was answered but we never got to fully "see" "why". Now to wait paitently for the rest of volume 26 to get scanlated.

I've heard some stuff somewhere about the Horohoro fight that is being scanslated now (in particular something about his spirit), but the stuff so far has been rather cool with the continuation. I just wonder how they're going to handle all the stuff that has to be done before chp. 300.
If takei can make the "battles" last no longer than a few chapters each and have some just last maybe 1 chapter than I can see it working but who knows, as an author takei is very unpredictable at times. I never expected Peyote to betray hao and his minions, I never expected the lego dude to be hao's biological father and I was utterly shocked to find out that Luchist created the X Laws. I have faith that this time we'll get a nice ending and no "dream" B.S
Next chapter prediction:Now what would shock me would be that after Horohoro shows Kalim his "true power" is that kalim goes "that's all I wanted to see" and lets them pass into the next plant. Than of course for his treachery Kalim get's killed. I honestly thought that when they woke up kalim should of been dead cause by aiding them he technically betrayed the patch but I guess takei really wanted to show horohoro's strength on.
Well 288 of the KZB release is now out thanks to the scanlation team of Mankid-Trad and this time the chapter is 23 pages long (unlike the last chapter only 15 for a sec there I thought Hiroyuki was going Togashi on us all) This chapter shows Horohoro's flashback which was very well played out i'd say and having kororo be
! Damuko didn't really surprise me but made me happy for horohoro who seemed like a pretty down hearted character to begin with. So hopefully the next release will be the end of the horo horo fight. I don't know about you guys but i'm eager to see this fight end and show Ren vs. Nichrom
Anyone know why th realeases are so absurdly slow? I mean, it's not like they need to wait for the next clean raw, and yet it's taking them two weeks each to release two chapters?

I liked how Kororo turned out to be a girl who liked him, it may have been a bit "stalkerish" but it was still sweet. Now we can move to the next fight finally.
I have no idea why it's taking them so slow and believe me as a fan of this manga it really upsets me seeing as how vol 27 the final volume of KZB will be released in. I believe either april or may which will be here before we all know it. In the meantime I am re-reading the series. I just hope that later on Chocolove or Ryu get to have bad ass fights.
Aparently each time that someone at mankintrad ask "when the chapter will come out", "why isn't the chapter ready" or something like that, they move the relase time half a day later, just because they are the only ones who didn't gave up that manga, even if the author did.
The chapter was kind of ok, it was a good reason of why neither talked about it, but the fact that Kororo will be a kropoku for ever is kind of a downer, but I'm guessing that is to avoid repeating Jun&Pylong, and Faust&Eliza.
So: Yoh vs Silva, Ren vs Nicrhom are the ones certain.
Chocolove will face the "Bean" patch, the one who sold the coffe to Yoh an Hao, it is in one of the titles.
I guess that Lyserg will face the Chamelion Patch and in the end I'm hoping that Ryu and Opacho double team on the Alien Patch or Goldva, they deserve a flashy fight.
And in the end Lady Gandara vs Goldva would be the fight that I wolud love to see, or Lady Gandara vs Enma at least.

The gandhara will more than likeally show up with the "great spirits" that were hidden in hell right before they face hao and goldva. I can see Lady Sati take on goldva, that would be a rather interesting fight. I am just eager to see how the author will end this series seeing as how it was forced to have an early ending.

Will American Shonen Jump just discard the former ending and drop the Kang-Zeng-Bang ending in its place when the time comes?
Eh, the rumor is that Takei didn't like to do battle, the editor made the scripts for most of the fights untill the start of the tournament in america.
The lack of a good battle standar made the series less popular up untill it's cancelation, from the start of the 2da part of the tournament there were a lot of plot points being raised left and right, that without the normal flow of the manga went out unresolved.
Finaly once you get to revive everyone, without conditions, only costing a little "mana" you stop worrying about the characters, even if your soul was eaten by the SOF you could be brought back..
Maybe the ending was trully bad, and I've lowered my standars enough just to be satisfied and be over with.
! In the final battle the 5 warriors defend themselves from Hao's Sun by.. Len creating a magnetosphere, Horo Horo and Chocolove creating an atmosphere, and Yoh & Lyserg doing something that needs translation.
! Meh, in the end it was Adecuate, we got to see decapitated Hao.
! I predicted just as much, with the 5 WARIORS OF LEGEND WITH THE POWER TO CREATE ANOTHER PLANET AS A DEFENSE taking the place of Opacho to break the G.S. O.S. and the Great Spirit itself and Matamune as the one who forced Hao into JesusChrist/Budah Status
well at least the series now has an actual ending to it. I thought all and all the series deserves a 7 out of 10 it's not the best series but it's not that bad either like most series it's had it's ups and downs btw does anyone have the raw for kzb volume 26? cause I want to see the rest of the horohoro confrontation and the confrontation between ren and nichrom.

Well…it's over. Waiting for the trans but at least we know what happens now: a fun but bizarre final battle that turns into "Bokura no Digital World" once Manta appear with the train. Probaby suitable but somehow I expected something a bit...different.
I got to say big props on takei's art in this final volume probably the best artwork in the series period.

Saying that the plot wasn't convulted, or wasted is having never read this manga, or any other literary medium.
The fights lost what made them good, and became confusing, first trowing the Furyuku, Reirokou, and Whateveroukou numbers around, later power tiers, then feats of impossible strenght, and finaly asspulls of random skills.
I used to love this series, but the author didn't cared as much as I did, what are the conditions for getting forced to end a manga? how many weeks in the bottom of the questionaries?
Takei didn't understood the meaning of a good battle, even if the basis were there, they almost always (after america) had a big flaw.
And the techinques… how many times did Lyserg used the Phantasm Big Ben?, or Yoh the Budah Giri (after america)? Did Ryu had any named tecnique with susano cleaver?, did any of the Gandara (sans reviving sati) had any particular skill apart from "Furyuku Nullification in form of <insert used="" budist="" weapon="" here="">"?
And don't get me started in wasted battles, Sati and Jeane getting killed off screen by hao's henchmen, Anna losing against Hao offscreen, the battle of Sati vs Enma, offscreen, Hao's first and second death, the second set perfectly to happen when Yohken apareared, the Hell training (the inner demon manifested battle) skipped, the final battle between Marco and Luchist offscreen (eh, that one I'd rather to be keept offscreen, the pedophilic tones were too much).
Too many details, just in the biggest shounen aspects, the finner plot points would be too much effort.
Even though, an ending is an ending, finaly.</insert>
I think above all else the thing that pissed me off the most was how absolutely gigantically Takei wasted the Gandhara faction.

only uses them in one boring battle, then has them vomit out deus ex machinas and promptly get briefly killed off (offscreen) by inexplainably powerful fodder goons who have already been beaten some three times by lesser characters
I think that I seemed to just ignore a lot of the plot and just wait for "some real cool stuff to happen" around the point of the Golem. Takei had potential and he wasted it even if he still did really cool things…at least a bit more consistantly than Kubo or Kishi. Regardless, it's still an ending, even if it's more just ripping off the (infamous) end of Digimon 02.
So…
Who became Shaman King? Or did Takei stray away from that? Honestly, I don't want to read this series from start, becuase it's been so long since I've read it.

Entrance nothing, they pretty much were seen as important to the story since at least when we saw foreshadowing of Sati alongside Anna and foreshadowing of Jeanne. Takei knew they were crucial, he just screwed up in using them.

Similarly I realize that Goldva seems rather underutilized as well with the way the ending went. The chief of the Patch tribe, he shows off what could be one of the most powerful of spirits…and he's just eliminated and absorbed by Hao the moment he awakens. I hate when shonen authors do stuff like that.
Another thing that pissed me off was how he bucked the structure and order of the Shaman Fight for more and more annoying skirmishes in the woods/beach until that was all that mattered anyway.
