All right, here's the story. In the past, the Windows Media Player on my computer has played files with the type of subs that can be switched on and off on a player like VLC perfectly fine with no required setup, but recently it has mysteriously stopped showing the subs, even though I have the ''on if available'' option selected in the Lyrics, Captions, and Subtitles menu. So, my question is, is there any new software I'm missing that needs to be downloaded, does my Windows Media Player need to be re-installed, or am I simply going about this the wrong way?
If anyone can provide some answers, I'll be grateful.
