Perhaps because the content is lesser confusing and standard catch-phrases for the most part, people without splendid Japanese skills might be able to translate it? Just a guess.^^
One Piece chapters are chock FULL of text to read and translate, and there's always the odd in-joke or such, so it just plain takes a while to translate. Not that it's not satisfying.

freedom: Something like that, but the main word seems to be 丸 which can mean completely or … round. I figured out a slightly more understandable script for it in English, but I did have to change what they said just slightly. Call it artistic liscensing, or what have you.

I read that every couple months or so… they actually start any of the espada 1, 2 or 3 fights yet. bleach spoiler if anyone cares just in case [hide]last chapter i read was when the bald guy lost b/c he wouldn't use his bankai[/hide] i just started watching the anime again b/c my gf prefers the animes, but why they did put two eps of filler after they just got out of filler????

I think you're on the right track here… the problem is I think we need a homonym for nose or at least for round, and at the same time we also need a synonym for nothing. At least, this was my understanding.

I don't see where this is so obvious…for me, it seemed that poison fell from up above (just like in any of the Aliens movie, or Jurassic Park, regarding to dino's saliva) and he came from above to fall in front of Luffy.
That drip of poison was not Magellan acting like The Impossibles' Fluid Man. ^^'
For me, poison comes out of his body just like wax comes out from Mr. 3's.

Now, I can understand wanting to see haki…but is this really the time for this? Magellan might not even be an opponent that needs haki, especially in level 4. With a potential ally like Mr. 1 appearing, it seems like teamwork can just as easily take this poison man out.
It seems most people clammoring for haki feel Luffy should start using it not because the story demands it, but rather because they are impatient. Oda is building and developing a new idea that started with Duval, grew through Rayleigh, and developed further with Amazon Lily. Now it can show up anytime in the story, but it's got to be the right point. As of now, Luffy hasn't met anyone who can render his other moves useless, so until then there's no reason for haki yet.
I personally think it'll show up sometime when the war starts, assuming Luffy gets in the middle of that.

Actually, Haki was shown all the way back in chapter one, when Shanks made that sea monster back down. This is something that Oda has been cooking up for a long, long time.

Haki is the final power, which even the Yonkou use. Luffy will master it in time, but it will be a long process.

And we also know nothing of the Kings Haki to say that it will be useful. But what we have seen of Haki doesn't suggest that it's some kind of super-awesome-chocolate-covered-super-duper power that pwns everythings. It has it's uses and may help, but given the nature of the opponent hand to hand may not be the way to go. At least not withnot some protection.
