Who will Luffy find in Level 5?

Ok, since it's quite clear that Luffy & co. will end up to visit the entire Impel Down, I was wondering who might be kept on Level 6, since some of the strongest guys met are in Level 5 (Ace, Jimbei, Croc). As for now, I bet on two guys in particular:

Silvers Rayleigh. We know that Kizaru managed to catch 500 pirates in Shabaondy, but we still don't know who they are. And the last time we saw Kizaru he was fighting with Rayleigh. If the Dark King lost, he's surely the perfect choice for the last level of Impel Down, where are kept prisoners so strong and dangerous that must be erased from history. He was Roger's second in comand, so the description fits.
Tom. I know it's strange, but i checked the Water 7 arc for being sure: he wasn't killed by Spandam, he was sent to Impel Down. So, there's at least a chance he's still alive. I think that Gold Roger's shipwright is another perfect candidate for Level 6.
So, what do you think? Any other idea?

i don't think rayleigh is in impel down, because he had to modify the sunny for the straw-hats. And if he has to do it after he gets freed by luffy or gets free somehow else he still has to do it within 3 days and that means 3 more days on shabondy archipelago. Also rayleigh isn't the guy who gets caught so easily. Perhaps he just escaped after the straw-hats vanished and relied on whatever kuma said to him…

Also for tom, i don't think so. it would be interesting, but likely he's dead since oda has closed his topic with franky's past...

Edit: i think a few of the supernovas are imprisoned like those who fought kizaru and a pacifista...

It's even not confirmed that ace and co are at level 6 :) Yet it's only speculation. But we can speculate on who else is there. I bet on a legend with unbelievable power ;) No not rayleigh.

About the 500 pirates, we don't know that they are transferred to Impel Down yet. At the time, the soldier was asking for documents for them to be sent to Impel Down.

But Tom would be a good guess. It would be great if he was alive and he could build them an underwater capsule in a short time that would allow Jinbei to transfer the escapees out of the Impel Down.

1.some of rogers old crew
2.fallen yonkou
3.ex high ranked marines
4.people that know about the ponyglyphs and the void century
5.perhaps even people that know what the will of d is
6.other seriously powerful people

Very good point. The card would be slowly burning away as it he will be slowly dying in the cells just like Ace and other prisoners.

People are ready to put Supernovas on lvl 6? That makes no sense.
The 5th level is filled with people with bounties over 100 million and even Shichibukai manage to get imprisoned there, some of the most powerful pirates around.

We as readers know lvl 6 to exsist from several hints, but in the OP world it is just a rumor to have monsters that had to be erased from history. AS soon as I heard that I thought about Odz, I mean talk about ancient. Also I wouldn't completely rule out pnoeyglyphs or whatever the hell they're called. Maybe some ancient races stronger than giants and fishmen. Just not Supernovas or Tom.

i was thinking that if we had a ponyglyph in the bottom level it would make sense, as the two safest places to hide such a thing would be either impel down or marie jois. if there is a ponyglyph there then it makes me wonder if gold lion was caught intentionally to reach it, although this is massive speculation.....
i personally doubt there are huge beasts because i cant see the reason for them being there, another race of people sounds interesting, maybe they could be linked to the void century? again just a fantasy...........but would be interesting

Agree for the Supernovas, if they're in Impel Down, they'll surely be on Level 5, not 6. But with Gold Lion you mean the guy from the tenth movie? I don't think it's in the manga's continuity… Anyway, Roger's crew sounds as the most likeable occupant of level 6.

im saying that the only known person to escape impel down is gold lion, right. and then went on to speculate that if he was put in jail then maybe it was intentional. if he knew of a secret in level 6 then the easiest way to get there would to be captured, and by knowing he was going to prison also prepare a way to escape. its a wild theory but i would like for there to be something more than just a person escaping, this adds more mystery in my opinion.

its just that whenever we discover some huge mystery character of implied importance, then oda usually goes out his way for some fantastic story or history of that person, and to have sengoku make such a big deal about this person make me think that the story surrounding him isn't a simple one. anyway these are just my feelings on the vibe im getting.............

The most powerful person from his crew besides him was Silvers Rayeligh, and he's definetly strong enough to avoid being captured by the WG (aside from recent events). I'm sure the others are running around somewhere. Everyone is going under the assumption that every person in Roger's crew was a powerful pirate, just because of Silvers and Shanks. I'm sure he had a few normal humans in his crew that could be dead right now. The way Oda has it setup is we'll probably see something out of no where, definetly not some former pirates on lvl 6. I'm hoping for an ancient race of some sort or maybe even something better. But Roger's crew being there seems too bland and boring for Oda.

Buggy would have been a good example, as well as crocus perhaps? but i would say that most of Rogers crew had a good knowledge of stuff so although they might not be all strong and powerful, they most likely would be alot more intelligent then your average joe bloggs. why introduce an ancient race? for a better understanding of a certain history or just to spice it up a little, as you see they must pose some serious threat to the government to be in level 6.

! Hey Oda did it with Rayleigh. Another possible familiar face from Buggy's flashback. Look at the upper left panel. The pirate with a Battle Axe. Looks like a young Croc now doesn't it? I did find it weird how some random pirates (that didn't have Shanks or Buggy on it) got their own panel with some unknown pirate with a battle axe in the foreground of it unless there was some signifigance to it. Croc having a past with Buggy could be a reason why Croc would end up helping Luffy's team.

no…pirates go to prison, people/countries that aren't in the government countries agreement would go as slave labourers on the bridge, like Amazon lily, the pirates would go to impel down and the islands people would go to the bridge, that is the defining difference..........i think

Kidd and Law were attacked by a Pacifista: since Kidd has magnetic powers, that giant cyborg is not a threat to him, so they had a big choice to run away. Bonney and Capone wasn't attacked but but normal Marines, and they easily defeated them. The only Supernovas caught, in my opinion, are the ones who fought with Kizaru, so Hawkins, Apoo, Orouge and Drake.

Whoever is down there is probably kept in utter isolation; that way there is no chance of collarboration between these guys. Whoever it is, we know they are something special and with Impel Down's reputation, we know they have taken measures to secure them and have done so successfully except for once before (and soon probably twice).

As for who it exactly is…I vote for some famliar faces (like Tom) and some people we've never heard of before as well. (Though lord knows we have plenty enough characters already, but a few more can't hurt. ^^)

im going to laugh my arse off if it just turns out to be the food store, or something lame, as we have all assumed that because the higher the level Number so far….. that the lowest level would be something awesome. typical oda humour. it could also be an experimentation room, as it would make sense for the demons we have seen so far to have been created inside the prison............maybe we will discover vegapunk if this randomly turns out to be right. either way whatever the conclusion is to level 6 im sure it will have some definite significance to the storyline in relation to Luffy. we wont see this level for at least 6 chapters or more i think, unless something very drastic happens that we have not foreseen, or expected.

Huh, when was that said? Wasn't the Ohara Poneglyph still intact after the Buster Call bombardment? Don't remember anyone saying that it needs to be destroyed.

Btw, I'd find it pretty silly for the WG to put such a dangerous thing as the Poneglyph in front of the all those criminals. Even if none of them is supposed to decipher it you can never be a hundred percent sure.

i believe level 6 might be a research lab where vegapunk or some other person conducts experiments. if those beast guards aren't zoan then they were definitely created by somebody. same goes for the animals in level 2. they probably experiment on the prisoners at impel down and dispose of them when they are done. it's a perfect place to conduct such research since it's hidden away from the world and the only people with access are the most important people in the world government.

Impregnable or not, Impel Down is full of enemies. A smart person always has a worst case scenario in his calculations, which for Impel Down would be the escape of a prisoner. Considering that it's dumb to put a Poneglyph in a place where you store your enemies. A place where's no such thing as enemies AND impregnable at the same time is much better. Like the Marine HQ or Maryjoa perhaps.

1. I think we'll get to see Vegapunk's rival in level 6. He/she is that intelligent but opposes the WG.

2. The thought of seeing other races in there is interesting.

3. I agree that Jaguar D. Saul could be in there or some other character that Oda made out to be dead/gone but is really in level 6. (Not Tom though; and only one character)

4. We'll get to see a DF user that is so cheap. That the WG would conceal it's existence (thus hide the user and keep him/her alive so that DF will not show up in a long time)

5. I don't think we'll see past yonkou's there since I believe that the 4 Yonkou's no are the original ones (or firsts to be named). Though you can prove me wrong on this.

6. Last, maybe kings of countries that did not join the WG

If Luffy makes it down to Level 6, I get the feeling that he won't meet anyone there. He'll just see lots of stuff that makes him scratch his head in confusion and nonrecognition while making the readers' collective jaws drop.
