Wow…let me just say this: seeing Oda make that feared Minotaur we've all been waiting for have the coloring of a regular Holstein cow...probably one of his funniest surprises since Duval! And meanwhile...considering Bon Kurei mentioned the "Empress of Momoiro Island" in this chapter...somehow Sanji is probably going to lynch him once this is all over.

What an awesome chapter, i love the colour spread. And what the fuck is going on with the prisoners on page 4, are they spying or are they reporting to Magelan? Would be really funny, if these guys are spying. But on which level are they?

Ha, at the beginning I told everyone that if Luffy got bashed by that club he wouldn't be coming out of it unscathed. I'm a bit confused was to where Buggy got his explosives, but it looks like he just stole them for somewhere in the prison.

Minotaurus looks like the cousin of Duval's bison. Though for being hyped up as the one who beat the crap out of Jimbei (he wasn't fighting back, but still), he (she?) went down pretty quickly. I dunno, I kinda feel that the creatures and staff of Impel Down have been comically cutesified to a fault, not to mention their general incompetence until now. Hopefully things will shape up now that ''the fighters are gathering".

So, highlights were the return of Buggy and Mr. 3, and Tonkaichi Rifle. I look forward to more upcoming teamwork between the group.

As per the spoiler threads, those are the new versions of his "Buggy Balls", the "Magi Balls". He hid them within his body when he was captured and, since no one knew he had a Devil Fruit, the hidden weaponry was not found in his body search.

Buggy seems ready for a real fight now. He has his powers, swords, a rifle (maybe a Kairouseki net shooter????) and magi balls!

What? Minotaurus gave trouble to Luffy and Mr. 2 until Luffy used Gear 2nd, and then they both run away. Then, it needed a combo attack of all four characters to defeat him. He's pretty powerful, and there are three other guardian beasts around.

good chapter. the muggy bomb is ultra powerful, wonder if it does greater damage than the original buggy bomb and if buggy developed the buggy bomb to further damage.
i see a buggy bomb vs. sunny bomb clash in the future.

the coala is definetly a beast guard cause he has the same eyes as the minotaur. rhino-san will have those eyes too. just one more to add to the circus, which one will it be - hopefully not a panda cause that would mean instant ownage to luffys group.

A)The design of Impel Down is kinda dissapointing as of now; after the promising level 1 (blade trees and all) came boring levels 2 and 3(no gore, no torture chambers? come on! it's supposed to be HELL!). Level 4 could be a bit more interesting.

B)It looks like the final battler will be the "new Straw Hat team" vs "Magellan and his guards". Folks can start making their battle-lists hehe.

C)Ad the shichi-spread: Why are Hancock's breasts that far apart? What a waste!

Personally that's what I like about Oda myself. He takes something that seems scary or horrific, makes it funny or strange, but keeps is extremely powerful or destructive or a threat to the mains. Not everything that is a monster has to be some horrific beast.

1st point: Now that Luffy and Hachi are friends, there's more than one chance to see him allied with the other Arlong Pirates.
2nd point: Mr. 3 nearly killed Nami, Vivi and Zoro, but he's in the "gaol team" right now, and Luffy isn't the kind of guy who hates someone for a long time…

At the end, things seem a bit too happy, don't you think? I think things are going to get bad, and soon.

I don't think Buggy, Mr. 3, or even Mr. 2 can hang with any of the head guards. If there are any matchups, I think/hope it'll be along the lines of:

Jimbei vs. Magellan
Luffy vs. Hannyabal
Tranny King vs. Sadi-chan
Mr. 1, Mr. 2, Mr. 3, Buggy, etc. vs. remaining 3 beasts

I sure hope they don't just get captured, though.

Also, the Muggy (Magi/whatever) Ball is amaJing! :wub: It is waaaaaaay stronger than I thought! Also, Bentham handled the fight much better than it seemed based on the spoiler. I am pretty sure both of them can fight the remaining Beast Guards 1x1.
Galdino is the only one who is in trouble with the upcoming fights due to the heat. I have no idea how he would be able to overcome it… maybe they will not have 1x1 fights after all.

Last but not least, I will learn how to run like Bentham (it feels so wrong not call him Mr.2).

Then it must be Galdino. (And after looking at the script, it seems they added the dot themselves even though the raw didn't, so it was from whoever wrote the script.)

And fuck, I hate when I see all my mistakes when the raw comes out. Scripts are all well and good, but without the images that come with them, it's hard for me to get a grasp of what they're really saying.

That and I must've been really tired for this mistake to slip through. じょおう_？_ I thought, Joou? But that's queen … SHIT. Furigana reminded me that it really is queen and not princess. There's 女王 (queen), and then there's 王女 (princess).

Well, at least, I've set myself with the task of improving my kanji reading skills. That queen thing is just embarrassing.

Well I'm italian but I've never heard someone named "Galdino".

BTW - I'm loving the temporary strawhats more every chapter, and the minotaurus was… well... surprising! Though I would've hoped for him to be more scary/powerful, I was thinking he would've been the demon guards chief.

To the guy who said Level 3 isn't scary: they make people starve TO DEATH in level 3, isn't that enough torture for you?

Not so. Some breasts grow so close together they form a natural cleavage. Others grow so far away that
a)forming a nice-looking cleavage is impossible
b)they look a lot smaller than they actually are
