Well, here is 388 HD. The SD and script are sure to follow suit. The reason for the slight delay this week was that Sockpain, our encoder decided to fill in for Typhoon, the artsy guy who generally does the fancy pics we put up with each release. Socky, being the perfectionist he is, wouldn't let us release until the picture met his strict standards. We are proud to present, the amazing artwork of Sockpain, along with the episode of course…. You aren't talking about our 400p avis are you? Because they are so blurred and full of compression artefacts they have absolutely nothing on the ubbersome mkvs.

I was talking about the cheap animation which looks rather more crappy the closer you get to it not your encodes.

It is cheap. I usually watch the 700p mkvs but take a few steps back from the screen, helps a little.

Why does everyone like the HD? Its not even hardsubbed like most of the other One Piece sub episodes are. Its just a softsub script attatched to a scaled down HD episode. Wouldn't using just the script with the original HD raw make more sense? I use the SD for no other reason than I like to collect the hardsubs, but still…

Yes I would. But Raws tend to be less compressed / bigger than what Yibis releases. If you have the space on your HD, download the HD raw and the ass file and enjoy the show. Wrong timing in the raw -> maybe out of sync.

Same. I don't even get the technical pickiness of some, save the fact that I like my subs imbedded in the video. I have no plans to make any AMVs, and the less files the better.

Being picky about formats is all fine and dandy, but for you to expect us to change our formats for you is a little too optimistic in my opinion. What's this talk about a scaled down HD? As far as I know, we haven't been scaling it down for the HD… Anyways, there are more than enough groups that release one piece hd in an mp4 container, so you can always collect those hardsubs.

I have a friend who knows how to do hardsub encodes of softsub files.
He does it for me with my Hellsing Stuff, if I had him make a hardsub endcode of your fansubs and post them here for all the people who want them, would you mind desi?

You mean like an HD mp4 hardsub? I mean, our avi is hardsubbed, but I am sure you knew that. It isn't that we are incapable of doing them ourselves, but that we don't feel its necessary to put in extra time for a third release. That being said, if he wanted to do it on a consistent basis, I have no reason to oppose it. It would be even better if you could put us in contact with him directly so we can make it a more consistent thing…

I really don't get it. I allways download your HD torrent from your site and when I play it it there are things in the subs like {screen bleed} and stuff all the time. In the one piece 384 thread I made a comment about it allready and someone told me to get mpc/k-lite pack and I would but I am a mac-user and mpc–lite packs don't excist for macs... Do you have any other options?
and what is the script and what does it do? I downloaded it, hoping it would containt good subs or something but still nothing. . .
