Anyway, just wanted to let you know, it said establishing ftp connection then it asked for a password, obviously blank password was accepted but nevertheless altso it took quite some time before the server accepted my connection but that might be a problem on my end.

I like the fact that Yibis releases HD subs but I just can't handle the fact that some lines of dialogue go unsubbed.
As much as I appreciate Yibis' conviction to sub episodes, the fact that some lines are missed is just too annoying for me.

Again, before anyone tears a strip out of me for dumping on Yibis' know that I am very thankful that they are doing this. They are great people for trying to get the new episodes out. Because I shudder to think of having to wait so long for Funimation to catch up…

Maybe I hit the wrong link on their site or something I don't know… But I think to play it safe I'm going to stick with ACSF from now on.

So I was curious about the comparison between Yibis and animecrazy releases so I was watching 388 and I noticed some dialog differences in the form of omissions (or additions?)

[ACSF@11:26~]– Brooke: "My first battle as one of the Strawhat Pirates," "it would be a disgrace if I couldn't even lend a hand!"

[Yibis@11:26~]– Brooke: "To think that my first real action as a member of the Straw Hat Crew was to drown..." "It would be a disgrace if I did not help you!"

Now in general they say the same thing but it seems like ACSF completely ignored the part about brooke regretting his drowning... (unless it wasn't there in the first place and yibis added it in?)

And is Brooke's speaking really as formal as the yibis translation might imply?

Um, just so you'd know, I've done that too… Though I try to not rely on it TOO much, seeing how it seems that the scans aren't entirely accurate all the time either, not to mention how it wouldn't really be my translations if I just copied every single line from Cnet…
