ok you know in the general area where the polls are when you create a thread why not have a option of making a note area there to explain the general jist of the thead.some people don't like to go thru all the post if the thread has 300 or more posts

if you hover your mouse over the thread title for a few seconds, it tells you some of the first post
which is kinda similar :B

The idea sounds good, but I honestly haven't seen anything like this before. Hmm.. can it even be implemented?

I think that he means that he want the first post of the tread to be seen all the time, even if the discussion has more then 1 page. I know that it is like that in Onemangas forum. I think that it would be of help sometimes, but it isnt that hard to just read the first post the first thing you do when you're entering a new tread, no matter how many pages there are.
