I taught of Tashigi looking a lot like Kuina, Zoro dead's friend and I wondered in some "what if" scenarios/"alternate universe", if Tashigi might be Kunia using another name, pretending than she was dead to see from distance how Zoro goes with his ambition to be the best swordsman?
Also, do you think than Tashigi and Zolo could be a good couple one day? (it's very doubtful for now but who knows? I guess it will give lots of imagination to fanfics authors 
)

If you ask me, no chance. Tashigi is a Kuina look-alike whom Zoro seems to despise because of that fact, and Kuina died, but it's interesting speculation. With Oda being Oda, anything is possible.
The one possibility I could think of… is Kuina somewhat lost her memory and ended up in a different place with new identity... But it won't be One Piece if Oda start drawing that though. It's like... a shoujo manga

I've always been under the impression that Tashigi is Kuina. Too coincedental, otherwise. Maybe she ran away from home and her father made up some lame excuse?
By the way, a Tashigi-Zoro romance would work. So what if one's a pirate and one's a marine? Oda wouldn't have it any other way - it's gotta be a little screwed up.

I'm not bashing the pairing, but I still think it's highly implausible. I mean, Tashigi hates pirates. Look at how upset she got after the Alabasta arc when she allowed the Straw hats to take care of Crocodile. Smoker and Tashigi may eventually grow to repect and admire the Strawhats, but they couldn't stop pursuing them because that's treason against the government. The only way there could be a romantic relationship between Zoro and Tashigi is if Tashigi quits the marines (I doubt that), or if Zoro eventually becomes a Shichibukai (and I doubt that for two reasons: 1. I don't think Zoro would become a Shichibukai 2. Tashigi doesn't even trust the Shichibukai).

A lot of good points, but I think Tashigi and Kuina were sisters, maybe even twins who were seperated at some point in thier lives….. The only thing that is wrong with that would be age difference (if there is any).
And yes, I think Zoro and Tashigi would work. Kina of like a forbidden love kind of thing ^_^

Still, the Zoro stuff would perhaps be a possibility in an alternate universe scenario where she were actually Kuina, but the setup would still be weird and corny.
i thought tashgi could be kuinas twin because they never showed Kuina's mom and so maybe she took tashigi to a different island. idk
I spotted a good fanfic about a Tashagi-Zolo fic at FF.net at http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2410822/1/ tought in this fic Tashagi isn't revealed to be Kuina there more other stuff who happen
In real life a relationship like Zoro and Tashigi would never work IMO, but in OP-world everything is possible, so just have to wait and see what Oda will bring out for them. Edit: Oh, I forgot. I think Kuina is Kuina and Tashigi is Tashigi. Nothing else in common except they have same face and ability to use sword.

Yah, I read that is a big ZoroxTashigi Fan And it was pretty good. Very good, actaully, One of the Best TashigixZoro fics out there, becasue they are in such short order sad. If you want a REALLY good Tashigi fic, read Stronger (you can find it on FF.net and theres a link for it in the Fanfiction thread) It delves deeply into the whole Tashigi/Kuina dynamic.
