Seeing as there will be a 4th installment coming soon to the Living Dead movies, I guess I decided to make a thread to talk about all of the movies B) !
I've seen the previous ones, out of which I liked "Day of the Dead" (I think that's the title) best. There was just something so interesting about Bub (one of the zombies). I really think they should put him in the new one :D !

Hah, yeh can't wait to see Land. Anyways, Dawn is my favourite of the series followed closely by Night. I thought Day was fairly average, as with the Dawn remake.

Dawn of the Dead is my favorite. I love the movie. It's HILARIOUS. The mall, the bikers, the token black guy, it's great. Plus 45 min of doing NOTHING in a mall. I love it, love it, love it.
I haven't seen the remake and don't plan on it. It will never do the original justice.
Land of the Dead looks great. I'm glad Romero is back in the game.
The original Night Of the Living Dead is my favorite zombie movie (and I loves my zombie movies). Just stunningly good. Dawn was excellent and I even liked the remake. Day was good, if I remember right, but I haven't seen it in years and years.
Very looking forward to Land of the Dead. Always good to see the master at work.
I wouldn't hesitate on seeing the remake, as it really isn't bad. It's what brought me in into seeing the Living Dead series, as I wanted to see what it was remade from. I love them all about equal.. same with Shaun of the Dead, but that's kind of a different category, now isn't it?
Shaun is like a mixture of genres, that's what makes it so good.
I am so super psyched for Land of the Dead! I can't wait to see what Romero has up his sleeve!

Correct me if I'm wrong about the Night of the Living Dead remake, but didn't the army nuke the town at the end? That might have been another movie though…

The only Night of the Living Dead remake I know of is the colorized version.. so I can't help you there. Sounds weird, though.
Solar Knight, I think you are talking about Return of the Living Dead. It is the first of a trilogy (which is being expanded to 5 movies with two new ones in production) of semi-humorous unofficial 'sequels' (not true sequels per se) to the real Romero movies. I'm pretty sure that's the one where they start using nukes for clean-up.
There was a remake of Night of the Living Dead released in 1990 which is in color. It was directed by Tom Savini who worked with on Dawn and Day doing zombie makeup. Not as good as the original but worth a watch.
What's wrong with the remake of Dawn? I heard the original was extremely boring, so I saw the remake and I loved it. Some parts might've been a little bit too gorey, though (the chainsaw scene…bleh). But I loved how most of the characters had their own unique deaths instead of dying all at once. It did annoy me how the characters you knew were going to live actually lived, though. It's like Resident Evil 2 (I was so pissed when the reporter died.).
return of the living dead is such a horrible series, epecially 2 and 3. Why are they making two new ones?!?!?!
On topic, i havent seen Night of the Living dead but i liked the other two. My friend and i can help but marvel at how that guy in the beginning of dawn (the original, of course), the cop if i recall correctly, opens the door of some random zombie infested apartment and as he opens the door gets his shot gun ready and shoots the zombie perfectly in the head without knowing it was going to be right there

I love Romero's "Dead" films. Truthfully I think this one will be good, but at the same time he's going to open it to a new audience. So, to a point im expecting the Dawn of The Dead remake from Romero. After this he's following it up with 3 more sequels. Here's to ya.
I heard somewhere that 'cos Romero liked shaun of the dead so much he's giving Simon and Nick cameo appearences in the upcoming new land of the dead, dunno if it's true.

This is Simon Pegg A.K.A "Shaun" in the upcoming flick. Looks pretty sweet if I say so myself.
