Next opening predictions/ wishlists

Basically describe how you'd like the next openings to be done.

For Koro Koro no Chizu, I think it would be cool to see a duet between Meredith McCoy and Either Brina Palencia or Leah Clark…maybe even all three.

As for the Straw hat version of We Are, we all know who's doing those.

For Brand new world, I think Vic Mignogna would fit, after all, he sung We Are, and it's the same pitch as BNW, giving us an idea of how it could sound should he sing it. I recently made a vid of how I think the lyrics will go:

Crazy Rainbow Star? I dunno, just anyone who sounds good and sounds close to the original guys in the Japanese version.

Jungle P? I just can't see anyone else singing this than Vic, it'd be great. Also, I made a vid awhile back of how I think the lyrics would go for this one too. I did what Funi does, 'took the lyrics and reworked them to fit the melody, the only part I pretty much 'made up' was the "Hopes and dreams" verse:

We Are remix? I don't mind who does it, as long as it both sounds good, and Funi gets all the little techno-sounding stuff right like in the

dubs of the song. I know I sound like a little Vic fanboy right now, but it'd be cool to see him sing this as well, it'd be cool to see him reprise his singing of We Are like he did in the first opening.

Share the world? I'd have to think about this one, as it sounds like a song that'd best be sung by some mainstream group- though Funi doesn't have that luxury.

One Day? Maybe

can sing that one, I think his voice would fit the song.

vic is an excellent singer. but you want him to do all of them? im pretty sure people want some variety.

like you said Jerry Jewel is a good suggestion as well. maybe mixing it up with those two.

but yeah i could definitely hear vic singing the the crazy rainbow star theme. either way, if they sound good, i guess i wouldn't mind if he sang all of them, hes been doing a great job.

Great, Vic singing Crazy Rainbow is now stuck in my head. It's like a virus.

I am looking forward to all of them. Funi does a good job with the openings for the most part.

They are by far the most generic-sounding openings in the show. Sure, they were both accompanied by great visuals making them both fairly exciting to watch, but the songs themselves are utterly forgettable.

i personally have liked all of the openings except for, wonderland: ewwww, it sounds bad no matter what language you listen to for it.

It's not an opening, but Justin Houston would go pretty well with Dear Friends.

And, they should probably use Chris Patton for something. I think they've tried to get him on one opening, but he was too swamped from the voice recording to do it or something.

I imagine there'd be people that will quickly get tired of his voice if that happens.

After watching DBZ people thought Chris Sabat was a voice acting miracle, so I doubt people will have a problem with the same person dubbing every song sung by a male.

well that's just preference in general, but the guy is good though.

if only anime dubbing companies could band together…but that's just a pipe dream....moving on.

anyone know the name of the song that is played as the crew is saying farewell to the "Marry".

here's hoping that they get that part portrayed just right to keep the mood, very interested to see who they will get for it.

I really like how you made the song in the past tense. Really cool way of making FUNi's lyrics your own in a sense. And the additional lyrics came out really nicely too. Videos like this make me look forward to season 4 and beyond.

It's "if we tryyy-ey", not "try hard". He's just extending the end of the syllable to keep with the rhythm.

Why isn't Brand New World on this list? I would really like a dub for Brand New World that is close to the greatness of the original. I have a feeling it won't be very good at all, mainly due to FUNi not doing fast songs very good. Look at Run Run Run.

That was a mistake on my part, among other things like the name of opening 5, and I would maybe ask a mod to edit the mistakes, but they would probably have to reset the poll in the process, if that would be ok with everyone.
