What do you hate about the 4kids dub?

4 years ago this topic would be worth having, or at least, it'd be understandable that it existed. Now, though… does it really matter? The 4Kids dub is gone. Funimation's excellent dub is what's important now. One Piece in America will probably never recover from the damage done by 4Kids, but as long as I can buy well translated manga and don't have to put up with too much heckling from Narutards and other idiots (because while it doesn't affect my love of the series, it's extremely annoying), I can resign myself to the damage. The 4Kids dub... is just an old scar now. It smarts a bit occasionally, but it is a scar, not an open wound.

I only watched a small piece of One Piece's 4Kids dub (lucky me) and I didn't like it at all! Luffy's voice is annoying as fuck, retarded humour, major battle scenes were cut, more retarded humour and (seriously, that's the biggest fail I've ever seen in all my life when it comes to dubbing shounen anime) they replaced the friggin' guns with.. some "toys", if It's even possible to call them that way.
Conclusion: 4Kids = Fail, FUNi = Ay oh kay, but there's more to come and see.

what i hate most about the 4kids dub is it's lasting effect. Yeah it was pretty bad… but i'm just sick of how people ARE STILL BITCHING ABOUT IT!
get over it, seriously.
IMO, it really didn't effect my one piece experience. In fact.. i'm glad that it never caught on as huge as Naruto or DBZ in america. I prefer my favorite anime NOT to be whored out

Everything. 4kids really fucked OP over in America, but whatever. Like Gekko said, it's for the best that it's not whored out like all the other popular anime. I would seriously cry if I walk into AX this year and am greeted by 20 Luffys and 50 Zoros.

I hate to burst your bubble, but the 4kids dub is dead. Its 4 years since 4kids dropped the rights. I'm pretty sure the dub is as memorable as the Harmony Gold dub of Dragonball today.
