Well, I don't know about you guys, but I've seen a couple of music videos (being bored one day and having no life, I tend to do that a lot) and there are a couple that just can't be beat.
One that never fails to amazes me is ManyLemon's Sail On, whose music video got rated something in like, the top 10% of music videos ever made (according to amv.org). This was the one thing that got me into One Piece; not my friend who was so majorly obsessed with One Piece that he named all his MapleStory IGNs MonkeyDLuffy, LuffyDMonkey, MonkeyLuffyD, etc etc (this is a true story…) nor the numerous threads that said "Best anime ever? One Piece!" Nope, it was this one music video. I've loved it ever since I downloaded it months back, and I still sing along to it, haha I even watched it before I started to watch the actual anime, as a sort of spoiler/forthcoming to what I was to expect of One Piece. And I watched it again after catching up, going "Oh yeah! This was at that part, and that part..." And I'm still doing it, after watching all the movies.
It can be found here.
On top of that, there's a really awesome Ace vs. Blackbeard video that I stumbled upon the other day when I was trying to satisfy my Ace-fetish.It also took a lot to not squeal during this music video (even though I failed miserably, being the crazy fangirl I am… -ashamed-) Special effects-wise, it's not that great, and the music/sync don't match 100%, but I thought that the song & the video matched pretty well. Not to mention the little cliffhanger he decided to do (minus the random Luffy part at the end). And now, looking back on it, I think he just put the entire episode straight in, sequentially; minus allt he extra scenes, of course [otherwise how would it be cropped to 4 minutes?] And yeah… I really enjoyed it, since Ace is one of my favorite characters and we really don't see much of him.
! Except in the recent manga chapters where he's being held in Impel Down… when I found out I instantly ran to the manga and caught up, wanting to learn more about Ace >:
