I seem to remember reading last week on the screen(text keep going by at the bottom of the screen on Keyhole) that said something about the program not working unless we have certain programs. I don't remember what they were but there were 3 of them.

Edit: Nevermind my incoherent post, I read on a site that Keyhole's servers are down.

Here's a screenscap I caught, the episode was overall well done. I really like how Toei decided to have one episode cover basically one chapter in the manga, nice pacing, I know that's old news but I felt like saying it lol.

Toshihiko Seki was a great choice. I can totally see him playing 'later' Duval.
Funnily enough, in this thread i predicted he'd do a fine Kidd. The man has a pretty varied range.

On the other hand, I found out that Hachan's seiyuu is Toshiyuki Morikawa, who's behind folks like Enel, Tyki Mikk, Sephiroth, and Ryu. Mind is blown.

Actually i've heard him voicing a lot of bragger/tough dudes, like Shurato, JJ, Scorpion Milo, Souther or Momotaros from Den-o. He's good for both Masked Duval and Handsome Duval, but especially the latter - knowing his range, i don't think he'll use a "light, soft" tone by the way.

Okay, I'm curious to know if anyone knows where the information for the animation directors is put up before had, since I see some people put them up with the new episode titles, but there isn't any individual listing that I can see of Fuji's site, and Toei's doesn't seem to update until after the fact.

There's apparently a new guy next week, so I've been trying to find out who he/she is, but have had no luck. Though I have discovered where in the opening credits they list the person, so it's not exactly dire that I know.

My thoughts exactly. Katakana might be wonky when it comes to loanwords or wase-eigo, but names are pretty straightforward.

Wow.. I was expecting MUCH more from this episode.. the humour parts weren't made that well.. I mean, I died laughing when I read it in the manga, but now.. I only barely smilled. What's wrong with One piece lately? Its missing a bit of soul.. =/

Nope that wouldn't be the case. I ALWAYS laugh when I re-watch the old jokes from older episodes. It's inevitable, because they are well done!

Yeah, this episode kind of sucked. I've always hated this guy's work, though. I think he's the one that made the Nightmare Luffy vs Oz fight so lackluster. The characters looked like shit, too.

Saw it. Art wasn't as bad as people are making it out to be. It was fine for a talking-heads episode, and most of the off shots were background stuff and things that the camera focused on for only a few seconds, which look crappy no matter who draws it. It was passable, given the content.

I did laugh when they made the flying fish sound like they were biplanes or something. I certainly don't remember Duval being that big, though.

New animation director next week. Hope he'll cut it.
