I think that a lot of stuff have consequences if the character did or didn't do something. I think it's pretty interesting too.
If Luffy wasn't saved by Shanks on time, then the rest of the characters probably would have died. And what if no enemies appeared, would things be better than they were after the enemy was defeated or would it have been better if the enemy never appeared.
What if Luffy hadn't happened to go to the Naval Base a few days before Zoro was going to be killed, what if he went early and he wasn't there?
What if Luffy never accidentaly hit the Barati with the cannon ball?
What if Mihawk decided he wanted to kill Zoro.
