I wouldn't say evil, she has the good of the people in mind, but a completely authoritarian control freak.
They've been emphasizing that a lot, though, this season, and especially in this episode where she exercised authority kind of viciously (and where we saw a bunch of her detractors go free). I wonder if we're going to see revolution.

Its a show I catch when its on, or I'll go to the net if I missed something that sound REALL special… but its not a show where I just have to see the latest eps usually. Gotta be in a mood for it.
Plus eps are so short it lends itself to marathoning or background noise.

Well, might as well come out of the closet. I watched this show trough… AND I LOVED IT! :w00t: It totally made me realize how stupid that vow of mine to not watch kids' shows was! They can have just as deep storylines and characters as adult shows! My favorite character is probably Lemongrab... at least before he became totally nuts in Too Old. (Why Lemongrab? :cwy:)
Can't wait for next episode!

Watched it already. Mostly because it seemed much more serious than kid's shows usual and Nostalgia Critic recommended it.
And about that vow… well it just seemed... a little childish at the time.
But now I've changed my mind! There's nothing wrong watching a good show, no matter what target demographic!Anyway here's hoping that Finn and Flame princess get back together!

I kinda predicted this tough after Cinnamon Bun duked those guards.

Finn doesn't really deserve her though with how he's been acting lately. I know the breakup affected him in negative ways in multiple episodes following it, but I'm sure he'll learn from it and eventually move on.

But it's still disappointing.Probably for the best. They were cute together sure… and you can even to some small degree excuse Finn's actions in the episode they broke up due to "Cosmic Owl was sending me a message!" but... he's just sorta been a creep since then, to both FP AND Bubblegum. (It'd be somthing if he eventually turned into his own version of the Ice King)
And the growth for Cinnamon Bun is great.

At this point, I'd like to see the show bury the Shipping aspect entirely, at least for a little while. Between episodes like the Red Throne, Rattleballs, Dungeon train and Too Old, Finn has been kind of obsessive and unlikeable.
Also, I started this weeks before Doug, and has just caught up recently. Awesome awesome show. I think season 3-4 was the sweetspot for me. Card Wars is one of my favourites.
