Oh yeah, I saw it the other day. Honestly, I'm very skeptical about it, but I find it hard to doubt your wisdom Greg, plus I liked the first one. So, I'm just gonna wait and see it for myself.

I'm a fan of the Superbad thesps in there. Dunno the name of the fat kid is it starts out with but that scene had me going. Plus the cop from Superbad as Custer had me in stitches.
I'm sure it's going to be familiar faces doing their schtick but I dig that crap. I'm just looking for a fun imaginative ride.
Here's a guage, if the scene of Ghengis blubbering over his childhood trauma didn't help you crack a grin in the first, then we probably have different tastes.

y-FxWtjkb3II haven't seen the first one. It looks like a run-of-the-mill Ben Stiller movie with lots of special effects. That's not necessarily a bad thing, tho.

I'm with Greg, I loved the first one and I'm excited for this. Sounds like it'll be a good ol' FUN movie.
What makes it great is a bunch of the original cast are coming back (yay, Owen!Jedidiah and Steve!Octavius), and they've got HANK AZARIA as the Pharoah.
EDIT: That 'I Love You, Man' movie looks interesting too. Bromance picture?

I forgot to say I really like that type of jokes they did at ending of the trailer. It's pretty spot on. A person can have the most amazing thing in front of him and he still isn't impressed, is still nitpicking and still isn't satisfied. So it's always nice when someobody makes fun of that.

I agree with Yoska. I hate when people do that shit.
Few things:
1. LOVED Amelia's reference to "Great Gatsby". Clever.
2. Did Ben have a romance interest in part 1? Does anything work out for him?
3. I really hope the kid from Superbad isn't in too much of the movie. I don't find him that funny, with the exception of Superbad. I've never found him funny in anything else. -

And this is the epitome of typical calling any sequels bullshit because they're definitely milking out the franchise and they'll definitely suck. Give the movie a chance will you? You can't judge shit with trailers. I thought movie one would suck from the trailers and my ribs still ache from how much I laughed when I actually saw it.And the trailers for this movie look even more exciting than the first trailer.

The first didn't make me laugh at all. Hardly anything makes me laugh, which deeply saddens me.
Thank God for Conan O'Brien and the occasional stand-up comic special on Comedy Central or I'd be lifeless. Usually movies just don't make me laugh, not even Superbad. -

Beat you to it, but thanks for pointing it out anyway. In all seriousness though, I am the same way about these types of films. I enjoyed the first one when I rented it a few months back, and will be wary of the second. Truth be told though, I will almost definately rent the movie and enjoy it.
