Hello, Arlong Park forums! Oh, god this is kinda awkward.. I have nothing useful to say in my first post! And don't bother laughing at my nickname, this one is JUST for Arlong Park's forums :) But I don't mind laughter. 
Well, let's see. I love One Piece! I have watched the anime since I was a little.. cough well, not that I'm much bigger now, but still..
At that time, I was watching the german dub of the series on some german television (RTL II, if I remember correctly) and since I don't live in Germany, nor do I understand a word of the language (well maybe one or two ) I didn't have that big of an interest about the show.. well Luffy's actions were enough to make me laugh even without understanding what he was saying.
To be honest, the only reason I watched RTL II was because I wanted to watch Yu-Gi-Oh.
You may now flame me to death for watching such kiddy stuff.
I am happy, that it wasn't the english dub I was watching at the time, because if I did, I probably would have never wondered what the actual anime would be.. and my thoughts about the anime would be totally different. I'm so glad. Now that I know what 4Kids have done to the series.. I feel like punching them in the face until they bleed and eventually die from blood loss. Eh.. right.. I better stop talking for now.:blink:
Well, that's pretty much it. Now I'm watching the japanese version of the anime and I LOVE it! Luffy is my favourite character, but you probably figured that out already.
I probably shouldn't say this.. but I've never read the manga. Yeah, I know I should.. and I WILL! I just can't find it anywhere.. translated, I mean. I did find some, but none of them are properly translated. I'm definetely missing something here.:blink:
And now, to conclude this post - MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR! Great community. I'll definetely enjoy my stay here.:happy:
