Have Any Of You All Seen Yes Man.
I Saw It With A Friend Yesterday With A Friend.

I All Started When Kiro & I Decided To Go The Movies.
I Wanted To See Seven Pounds But We Took To Long Eating Pizza So We Changed The Tickets & Decided On Yes Man.

I Went In To The Movie Thinking It Would Suck Only To Be Half Right.
It Was Basically "Liar Liar" + "Shallow Hal",With A Dash Of "My Name Is Earl"

The Plot Line Was A Loosely Based Off Of Some British Columnist' Memior
So It Had Some Structure But Other Than That Is Was The Same Jim Carrey Flick You've Seen So Many Times Before

The book is leaps and bounds better than the film.

        Just read that instead.

If I had a penny for everytime somebody says that…

It looks like a fun movie. Not something I would go to see but still something I might end up renting.

Ah 'Yes Man' one of the greatest books I've read…probably. 'Join Me' is amazing too.

And miss all the Jim Carey goodness? Loved the movie, felt like a real old fashioned Carey flick. Kind of like Dumb and dumber.

I haven't actually seen a Jim Carey movie in a long time. Last, I think, was that Shineshine movie.

                    Yeah… I dunno.

I used to think so. Very much. But nowadays I'm not sure. Honestly, people (including me) always automatically saying that (like they were somekind of robotic parrots) has kinda started to sound like pretentious bullocks. Sure sometimes it might be true too but there are also many many movies which I enjoyed a whole lot more than their novel counterparts. Or I have liked both very much. Even if the movie wasn't a very faithful adaptation!

So, yeah, books are books and movies are movies. That's the way I try to think it. But hey at least acting is usually much better in movie than in books. For some reason female characters of novels always sounds very male-ish in my head… :silly:

Nevertheless I will try to check out the book at some point too.

Didn't read the book… I probably will now, but I loved the movie regardless.

Amazing movie; I think my favorite part is where he stopped the guy from killing himself & everyone busted into song.

looks like it should be called "Liar Liar 2"

but since it was a book (i had no idea), i'll give it some more credit

                          i might rent it…

Went to see it. At first I thought it was going to be like Liar Liar but it seemed completely different. All in all an amazingly funny film, much better than most of the other so-called comedies we've had recently (Knocked Up and Super Bad come to mind here.) worth a watch.

Also I noticed Danny Wallace (the author of the book.) had a background cameo in the baby shower bar scene. It would have been nicer if he was given a speaking part (he's done comedies before.) but still awesome.
