One Piece c526 by Franky-House

Thanx for the good work ..
keep it up!
-
Its a nice an clean scanlation, but some things about it bother me.
- I thought the Vice-Warden's name was "Hannyabal", named after the Japanese demon hannya and famous fictional prisoner Hannibal. Your scanlation just calls him "Hannibal".
- I thought the warden's name is Magellan, named after the explorer Ferdinand Magellan who navigated around the Earth, where as you named him "Mazellan".
- So far everyone has been naming the big guys "Bullgory" or "Bullgori". Where did ''Blue Glory" come from?
I hope someone from the Franky House Staff could explain these inconsistencies.
-
May be you'll do the second version of scanlation with cnet translation? Anyway great job, thx.
-
Thanks for the scan!

I agree with Smartz118; there are a few inconsistencies between this scan and several other translations.
Another example: Luffy supposedly said to Buggy that he promised Hancock he wouldn't make a ruckus, but there's no mention of her name in that scene in this scan. That sounds like a rather important detail to be omitted if it's true.

yes we will but not a v2…. a HQ scan

quite simple, the translator hasn't read OP since chapter 445 XD

Well….that certainly will explain some things. Tell the translator to catch up!

It would be most appreciated.

It was indeed a pity that such an amazing chapter did not receive a FH-leveled work, this time…there were, indeed, a lot of errors in the pages - and people above just mentioned some of them - there are even mistyping mistakes. :/
I'd really appreciate, too, if there was a v2. And, unfortunately, I also am too busy up to Christmas to do one myself. :/

I'm curious. How long do you guys (combined, I guess?) spend cleaning the raw? Not not the typesetting portions either, just the cleaning of the raw by itself.
-
Depends. When I'm alone roughly 6 hours.
-
Oh. So you guys split the workload 2-3 ways every week? Makes sense. I've always been curious, since I clean the chapter every week. I usually don't do per-page since I doubt that many people read the cleaned RAW's, but sometimes I will do it and it can be time consuming. This week's chapter took me about an hour and a half, but there were some parts I skipped over and other parts I could have done better or more thorough. I gave myself a time limit though so that I wouldn't spend all day on it trying to make it perfect. Thanks for the info!

Less than 2 hours … I use this fast and good method http://i-lock.deviantart.com/art/Tutor-Speed-manga-clean-ENG-106960041 … check it if u want!

Pretty good walkthrough. That is ultimately what I do. Essentially I have a friend who doesn't know English all that well, so I get him the RAWs (he is Japanese) and clean them for him. Typically I just use the actions and do a very basic batch-clean / rename and give it to him, but when I have an hour or two to spare I will clean page-by-page. Like I said it only took me about two hours to do, but since my "methods" are self-taught and essentially just me improvising with what I have I was curious how things were for everyone else…
