Here I was hoping it would of been an Origins like battle system. Oh well I guess I'll get this anyways when it comes out.

Just for the fact that we're getting more than just fighting games for the Dragon Ball franchise. I wonder if Dragon Ball Origins convinced Namco-Bandai that fans will buy more than fighting games. I mean, it works for Naruto and One Piece (both have RPGs, fighting games, adventure/platformers), so why not DBZ?
I look forward to more info on this one.

Don't be fooled by my reaction. I don't think it's stupid, it's actually a refreshing concept to the series.
Now I have to wonder, original story or adaptation? An original story would be nice for once. Lord knows I don't need to play through the Frieza Saga for the millionth time in a different way.

Cool, I'll look into this if it turns out to be any good. It could be a new story that takes place during one of the earlier timeskips, if the pictures of Tien, Yamcha, and Gohan mean anything.

From the looks of it, it'll cover the 23rd Budokai, which hasn't been in a DragonBall game since one of the early old SNES games. Then probably the Saiyan saga, maybe with the first couple movies in there to pad it out.
