I dont know, but it seems Oda realized this homage to the famous manga duo Fujiko Fujio this month on jump square.
I mean, I dont know if it is a One Shot or a mini-series, or even just a promotional image… can someone who reads japanese tell us more?

Oh, no one, just the freaking creator of Doraemon (and another clone series like Kiteretsu or Ninja Hattori).In fact, the dog with the chikuwa looks exactly like the dog of Ninja Hattori.
Besides, it´s not usual for Oda to draw a one-shot

The monsters come from Kaibutsu-kun, which is an incredibly popular and fondly-remembered series where I live (Italy) along with Ninja Hattori.

Doraemon has been aired in Japan for more than 30 years. The three animes that I mentioned(Doraemon, Kiteretsu and Ninja Hattori) were/have been aired in Spain too since years ago(Doraemon was the popular one, in fact). I don´t know if they were aired in other countries, but if Japan made Doraemon an honour embassador, it must be pretty popular worldwide

I'm a bit surprised Oda didn't do the obligatory Doraemon reference with the pic…but hey, after reading a bit about Kaibutsu-kun (particularly after it's intro was manhandled by Lucky Star), it's nice to see him pay respect to the classics.

They're as important as Tezuka or Toriyama really (hell, more important than Toriyama) and have entertained entire generations of readers with their work. Wahahahaha its like anime is holy or somethin, chill man. I don't know, I read some of the posts and it seems they have no idea who the characters are, even if they know who the author was. That's why I assumed.

There's Hattori the ninja, Kemomaki, Shishimaru (the dog) and Tsubame from Ninja Hattori besides the monsters from Kaibutsu-kun
No Doraemon maybe Oda though this characters where more worthy of ownage them Doraemon that is still getting lots of attention

I'm personally not a Doraemon fan (It's an okay series, just never watched/read it.), but this interests me. It also gives me a little bit of hope that some manga author somewhere will try to develop a one-shot into the past of the Ginyu Force from DBZ as I think they deserved a bit more backstory than they were given in the series before being completely decimated.
Maybe I am just screaming out because out of all the DBZ characters, my only real favorites were Android 17, then Burter and Jeice from the Ginyu Force.
But enough of that. I will definitely give this a read if and when it is scanlated.
