We all know that both Luffy and Usopp are the immature crew members on the Going Merry. So, I want to know what you think.
I think that Luffy is the most immature. He acts like a kid, and is really hyperactive.

Definatly Luffy. While they are both pretty childish, at least Usopp has some feelings for Kaya. I don't think Luffy even understands how children are made yet.
Luffy but when he gets serious he becomes the most mature of them
Luffy. I mean he acts like a moron. Usopp is just wimpy, Luffy's the one lacking the braincells.
It really depends on the context. In almost every non-fighting situation I would say that Luffy is the most immature. But when it get´s to facing an opponent he´s sharper then any other of them. And I don´t mean just his fighting skills but also his attitude, thoughts and beliefs. When he starts to talk in such serious situations what he says always make a big impact on me. So it´s pretty tough to say if we don´t know the context.
After their fight I have no idea who is more mature.

Well in that context I´d say Luffy is more mature because to me Usopp was acting like a little child who only saw his point of view and didn´t think objectively.
Pretty hard to choose, they both are pretty silly at times, but My vote for this one has to be luffy, even though he comes through with good points, and is strong as hell, He acts like a complete retard, like constantly demanding for meat, and asking the dumbest questions ever. ^ _ ^;;
it has to luffy, sure he has his serious moments when hes fighting but most of the time he acts like a kid where as usopp is…....ok he acts like a kid too, but i have to say luffy takes it to another level and thats why i like him. by the way afro luffy totally kicks ass!
I don't think either of them are completely immature…they definately act childish, but both of them have shown that they can act maturely when it counts. But more often, Luffy acts immature.
Luffy acts more childish than any of the Straw Hats while not in battle.
my vote goes to luffy but he can be serious during fights, but thats what i like about him, its never boring when luffy's acting dumb its funny as hell

Usopp's crazy like a fox:
-Running away and firing projectiles is the smart way to do battle with something you can't defeat on your own.
-Lying will probably not be verified until you're long gone.
Luffy seems a bit headstrong; you lose that when life smacks you down.
This poll wasn't approved by admins/mods. I'll be removing the poll part. The result up to here is Luffy:Usopp=13:1. Also, I think immatre crew member could extend to other members than Luffy and Usopp.
In my opinion, Luffy is pretty immature, but he has grown great deal in this arc. He shows great leadership now. Same to Usopp. He's so responsible.
As I wrote earlier, I think others also possess the factor considered to be immature. For example, Sanji. He can't control himself when it comes to Ladies.
hehe even if luffy is my fav character, i'd say he is the most immature but only in some circumstances. During serious fights his immaturity disappeaers. In water 7, there are times he gets immature and gets seerious since the water 7 arc, the straw hats are in serious situations!
But its fun to see luffy all immature, it makes the story fun!!!
Luffy has many more immature moments than any other crewmembers. Some examples :
Conis gives them a boat. He doesn't want it because he wanted another bigger one
Because he failed to control the waiver and Nami enjoys it, he wants her to stop or even crash (Sanji kicks him for being that immature)
He never wants to share (ex : mizu mizu meat on W7, a stupid stick on Skypiea,…) and steals food
He risks missing his only chance to go to Skypiea to collect some insects...
He wants Chopper in the crew just because he's a monster who can shapechange, not because of his skills
He doesn't know Nami will die if she hits the snow from falling down of the Drum rockies
Hell, the only anime character I know that would be more immature than Luffy would be young Goku from Dragon Ball.
The entire male crew is sort of immature in their own way. I'm excluding the girls because they really seem to have a better grasp of the facts of life that the boys do.
But when I have to choose either Luffy or Usopp, I'd say Luffy. Both have their moments of immature and mature behaviour, but I think Luffy is the more childish one. It's one of his endearing qualities, actually, the way he sometimes cannot see outside of what he wants.
Of course, when angry, Luffy becomes extremely serious, even scary (much like Shanks, I might add), but he still occasionally forgets about his own limitations, whereas Usopp seems to be aware of his limits most of the time (or even underestimates himself). Of course Usopp, too, has his moments of blind belief in himself, I'm not saying he is exactly mature, either.
Outside battle: Luffy
In battle: Ussop
In fact, when Luffy's in a battle he's like a different person. Whereas Ussop is much the same in any given situation.
Just on a side note since I´ve completely forgotten to mention it before. Stupidity and being immature are two completely different things.
Being stupid is a intelligence thing while acting immature is an attitude thing. And no you don´t have to be stupid to be immature. Believe me that the older you get you´ll enjoy having "immature" fun. While when you are still not that old you try to act like mature to impress everybody how you´ve changed (which is actually immature).
Believe me I know so many people who had the same experiences like me. While we were around 18-19 years old all of us were acting like we were mature then because we considered ourselves as grown up. But once you get older you start to realize how immature such an attitude is and with that wisdom comes actually the understanding of just enjoying the time that is given to you. Sometimes it appears to be immature but is actually a result of life wisdom that comes with you and therefore stupidity and immaturism (sp?) don´t necessarily go together with each other.
So that said I don´t anyone of them is immature except for the pesky kids that appear in fillers and movies. Stupidity is a whole different discussion.
Chopper is pretty immature, himself.
